Yeah it will still depend on usage. The 5500mah extra juice is enough for my needs but i can understand that it's still too small for others. The 10000mah case is too big for my liking though.

Dont like that they just crammed a 3300mAh battery into this. Should atleast have a 4000mAH or better. My S8+ has a 3500mAh. Why did they fail with putting a smaller battery into a Note8 instead of a big one?

Yeah, majority of the time I use the Smark Lock feature since I'm always using my tethered S3 Frontier. Iris scanner is covered with a modified Zerolemon clip case part. All I do is swipe the screen's unlock icon. Totally locks if disconnected from my S3.
I way considering getting the ZL 5500 mAh battery case, but I know getting just another 100% battery backup is not enough to keep average 150% daily power use.

TheNe1ghb0r, 15 May 2018Hehe, my Note8's fingerprint scanner is fast enough. It's c... morenot a fan of the fingerprint sensor on this device though. i prefer the iris scanner. much more intuitive, just as quick, and it works even in the dead of night. no fumbling around for the poorly placed fps.

this phone continues to amaze. i've had this for 7 months and it's still buttery smooth (except when browsing on a poor internet connection but that's hardly the phone's fault) and as fast as the day i bought it. in terms of performance, it handles everything i put it through excellently. multitasking has never been as easy on this phone. previous iterations of the note line did well but nothing compared to the speed and intuitiveness of this device.
regarding battery life, i do admit it isn't as good as say on my older note 4. but i worked that out with the zerolemon 5500mah slimpower battery case. it adds bulk and weight but not too much. but now i've effectively doubled the time in between having to plug it in for charging. from 20 hours to 40-48 hours with moderate usage. not bad at all.

7 months in use and still working great, still the phone with the most features to be available until the Note9 appears. I have the April security update with oreo and it works all fine, no issues. It's the only samsung phone I would recommend to purchase. Great device.

Please ...if any one can help .. my note 8 while i’m charged it to 100% and go to sleep i wake after around 5 hours found it lose 6% percent form to be almost 94% while i’m off 4G and wifi and sleep all running applications before sleep ....????
