This is my last Samsung phone plus the battery life is horrible ! I barely get 22 hours out of the battery , much worse than the battery life on 1+5T.

"Wireless charging" even with "fast" is the slowest possible way to charge and generate more heat to your device. More heat means the killing your battery faster. Look it up as well.
Glass back is stupid. All glass break upon impact, even if it is chemically strengthened. You can find out by dropping your Note8 now.
Pretty useless to say it has "premium" material if it likely breaks on one drop. It is silly to be using it without a impact protection.

I don't see the point when the wireless charger has to be plugged in somewhere.
Probably less wear & tear on the USB-c port

Note 8 has all the best things industry has to offer right now. Dont waste your money with mid - range smartphones, in my opinion is the greatest swindle out there.

Nothing broke when my Note8 dropped 4 ft face down. But yeah, I hate the glass back. Blame people who consider glass as "premium".

It has lots of features that are hard to find now like a changeable battery, an IR blaster, expandable memory, good cameras and a tough aluminum housing that can with stand drops with no problems. I have had mine for over a year and I still use it as my daily driver. I use it for navigation every day because my job requires me to visit clients throughout the metropolitan area as well as browsing the internet, work and personal emails, accessing my company's website, using the AI assistant with voice commands. The Note 8 with its glass back, even with a case on it, can be very fragile. That is why I only use it to use the VR headset, 360 camera or on special occasions when I want to use the zoom lens.
