Really good things are always expensive, that's it, there is no way around it, if some one complains about the prices, obviously has to look at other options, nobody is forced to buy anything, I like expensive things, but I dont hate or criticize if out of my reach, I look for things I can afford, not things That I can not

AnonD-738656, 19 Feb 2018*I just do not like where Samsung is going with this tall d... moreNope, I love the new aspect ratio. It gives me 17mm more of screen height while on portrait orientation. The extra area gives me better usage. I'm coming from a Note 3 with a 16:9 ratio, and using it when I need to, doesn't suit well for me anymore. My wife has the S7 Edge, and the screen is too small for my needs.
The size of the Note8 is just good, with more screen surface for my drawing. Split screen give me 2 square windows. YouTube on top while browsing with Chrome on the bottom area provides space for keyboard - plenty more space to see what I'm typing.
Youn always get the Note FE if you still want 16:9. I can't go back to the old screen ratio.

*I just do not like where Samsung is going with this tall display, lack of homebotton and misplaced fingerprint scanner* *S7 Edge* was the last flagship that had me in straight awe! S8 & Note 8... eh! You could've just give us what we want *Keep a good length to width ratio, no tall weird devices, take off the bezeles, provided you keep the homeBOTTON with fingerprint scanner on it, If you can not do that, then keep the fckn bezeles, *Give us just one 16-Megapixels camera, no fckn need for two cams, keep the Edge screen, the infinity is just wateringdown!* *3600mah Battery* That'd be one piece of art, worth the $700-800s!
Otherwise, just take off the headphone jack as well and make it easier for us to dump Samsung once and for all.

Not sure, but burn in on OLED screen happen cause if you keep open same photo, pages or games for long time and you didn’t turn screen off at all causes this issue, to avoid this issue keep brghtiness always in auto, use black wallpaper or keep change wallpaper every week plus use negative colors from time to time.

does Always On Display cause screen burns in Note... moreNo. If you only put it full brightness all the time. 30% brightness is more than enough for daily use. My Note 3 has no burn-ins after almost 4 years of use.
I only brighten my screen for watching video.
