The more you charge in short intervals, like after spending 10-20% discharges, the more likely the life battery cycles will be in the upper 2000 cycles instead of 300-500 if you were just charging when you do with deep discharges like you only charge after you reach 15% or even less. On battery cycle is the equivalent of a 100% discharge and recharge cycle.
Shorter charges means less heat. Avoid fast charging. Doing something like charging from 80% or 90% to 100% and cutting off power will do wonders for your battery. Read about Depth of Discharge:

I'm using a Zerolemon battery case to do this. Only pressing on to recharge even needed.

Basically it's good for it's specs and such, you can do whatever to the S-pen ... specially creating GIF images they really include many nubs for the stylus to begin with so the pen will stay longer, battery wise ... it's typical for Samsung to go to a 3300mAh battery ever since the Note 7 incident, this is a countermeasure so that the phone doesn't explode while charging I've got this phone for about 1 month now and I never really felt the panic of finding a charger whenever it's on low battery charging w/ or w/o the included fast charger is about the same, no issues whatsoever though ... the only downside to this is price really, i could get the S8+ but thing that got me hooked to begin with is the S-Pen features and stuff so I'm happy overall ...

to go under 20 and usually keep the charge between 40 - 80 %. Its better to make short charges as our friend just told you.

Even when i had an iphone and before a nokialumia i've noticed that cellular data are more ''hungry'' than wifi. Ηowever if you've just bought the device do not forget to calibrate the battery. If you have any questions about this just ask us.

I'm averaging 13+ hours if I'd fully drain it, wth Bluetooth connected, some 5.5 hours of SOT. This is just surfing, video streams, and no games.

I constantly charge it up even at 80% mark to keep the battery healthy. Short battery usage discharges, and trickle charging will keep the sealed battery last longer. Opposite is deep discharge and fast charging from low percentage to full will generate more heat which is bad for the battery.

Hello Everyone...I am a new user to samsung mobile..i got this Note 8 just this week...my opinion that its a superb mobile but my major issue that its battery doesn't last long at all.
For example..i am using my mobile data now...the mobile lost 3% in just 20 mins ,is that normal? Thank you

If you really want 128-256GB variant buy it from eBay, but catch is that they come without manufacturer warranty

It's an absolute irritation that they would actually want 5mm thicknesses, or the fact that having it thick as 10mm would give us battery capacity of around 5,000 mAh.
It's a pain that the sealed 3300 mAh battery only can give me less than half of what I actually need daily, and have to deal with topping up power with power packs and battery cases.
Thankfully the battery problems of Apple started serious dialogues about battery life cycles. It's about time some light into having high performing processors and GPU but with dismal SEALED batteries that have limited charging cycles that the average person don't care or think about.
I'm ready for our devices to go back to removable battery system whereby I can change the battery capacity to 3x.

On the other hand, demanding more has always been the basis for breakthroughs. Thus, I cannot see why I must be satisfied and make compromise for what I do not like. But in the end, I have loved the Note line from Samsung for so long, I just hope they can make it even better.
