[deleted post]This is a laughable issue. It's called light refraction. Not like ambient light bleed as in for LCD-based screens. Light from the OLED pixels are being transferred very faintly to the side edges of the glass. Of course scientifically light refraction happens because the flat edge of the glass screen is curving 90° to the metal frame. We learned this in primary school.
You need to be in full brightness, no case on, in pitch darkness, really really really look for it at a 20-degree angle. You can't even see it unless you purposely try to look for it. Duh. It's so faint. It's a silly thing to mention.
It's a non-issue. Not even worth mentioning. I don't even look at my Note8 at 20° to one of the curved side when I'm using it. Waste of our time here. Is also there in the S8, but really really really faint. Fake Note8 users love raising even some pinkish tone on the screen.

boblee, 19 Nov 2017Guys does your note 8 get hot on daily usageLike every other legitimate note8 user who has given their answer already, no heating issues for me. Even when charging, it doesn't get hot, just a bit warm. Cooling tech ftw.
