By far the best device out there this year. I have been using it from the last two weeks now and i have faced no heating or any related issues with the device. Recommended to all those out there who can easily spend a 1000 bucks on a phone.

Instead of putting down your phone on the table draining the battery on idle mode, why not put it on a wireless charger while not in use? It will not overcharge and by the time you are about to use it, you will have a fully charged phone, ready for hours of usage. Convenient!

Olga, 15 Oct 2017Wireless charging is so slow, I just plug in to charge faster. My dear, don't wait for the phone battery to get down to 20%, or even drain.
For sure it will takes time to fully charge.
Wireless charging is not meant to charge a fully drain battery.
It is used to charge the phone when not in use no matter how many percent is left of the battery charge. At 70% battery it will take less than an hour to fully charge with wireless charging.
So why wait for the battery to drain, charge it now!

Let's deal with the fact: wireless charging (even the fast one) is neat but it's hell of a heck slow when compared to wired-charging.

Personally, I like the idea of wireless charging. Although it's nice to have it on my phone, I don't use it that often. Again, mainly because it's slow. But I love it when I am on my bed, with eyes half-closed, and I can just simply place my phone on the table and it charges.

The ONLY (and ONLY) problem with cable charging to me, is that the same situation happens over and over again. I get sleepy while I am still on my phone, and I wanna sleep right away. As I am trying to find the cable (and plug it into the phone), I lose my desire to sleep! Back then, it was still the era of micro USBs. Although now we have type-Cs, it only helps me by a bit. I still prefer wireless charging whenever it's bed time. Slow or fast, I just want my phone to be at 100% when I wake up.

That's how Samsung loves you, the price will drop in a few months so that everybody can afford it. Not like the fruit phone, only rich and famous can afford.Until the phone got outdated it is still expensive. That is a selfish company, cater only the rich ones.

                                        Off topic:

Saw many opinions about iOS and Android.
Here is mine - please dont complain I am Apple fan or Android fan. I always keep two mobiles for years (one Apple and other Android - mostly samsung, htc).

All of us agree iOS performs faster with smaller RAM compare to Android. However for the price paid by us Android manufacturers are providing doubleor more of the RAM to cope up with Android OS. So no big deal of it.

Over the years I see iOS reliability reducing and Android reliability increasing.

It is not right to compare Android eco system with iO. At a time, there will be more than 1000 models of Android devices compare to 6+ iOS devices. People complain no proper updates to many devices compare to Apple devices. Android ecosystem is complex with Qualcomm, Exynos, Mediatek, Kirin, Intel etc.. processors and a dozen manufacturers. Many manufacturers avoid updating devices because of complex eco system. What this complex eco system provided us????

                                        Many benefits:
                                        - I wanted highest resolution of selfie camera which is possible with Vivo and Oppo devices because of Android openness
                                        - I wanted the best possible battery in mobile which is possible with Xiaomi mi max 2 and lenovo with larg3 battery etc...
                                        - I wanted to take notes on mobile which is possible with galaxy note devices
                                        - I wanted my phone look like iOS but with lesser price which is possible with miezu, oppo, mi devices etc...
                                        - I wanted a dual sim mobile
                                        - I wanted best processor with affordable price which is possible with Oneplus, Xiaomi

Many devices are built with different funtionality in mind with affordable price is only possible with such complex Android eco system.

With a simpler eco system Apple provides regular updates and make the OS more reliable as it releases one set of processors every year. Due to its closed ness nature, we as consumers loosing benefits as described above.

I see value in both each have its own complexity, problems and benefits.

A manufacturer not providing updates is not an issue with Android OS as such.
