Anonim, 09 Oct 2020me too...and its also becoming very slow..:(No sh...t, perhaps you should make a backup and root your phone with moded-room like horizon or deluxe? Read my last comment on section note edge? about this problem, and the rest of you don't update lately about security stuff it might brick your phone as it did douseds off note9, note edge, pixel4 and other.

Samsung is killing Note8 with quarterly updates now and stuck on android 9 🤦♂️
I think it's time for an upgrade
Note 8 was an amazing device and deserves more major updates

That grey you're seeing is probably an LCD screen. Maybe the person you bought it from replaced it with an LCD and not an AMOLED

I am using Note 8 over 2 years now an... moreWhat grey are tou talking about, where is that gray...bcz, few days a go i bought my note8 from one other guy, and i donxt see any grey or black thing, but sure before i bought it i checked the phone first, like dialing this code *#0*# will pop screen with option to test screen and other device hardware, otw. my note8 works just great, hope i don"t get this grey thing on my phone.

Guys.. Need help.
I am using Note 8 over 2 years now and recently I did a reset, later I starting noticing grey rather than black either particularly videos including youtube. I see greys instead of dark black. All this started only after reset. its like true black is no more. I tried all display setting, dont know what went wrong. Any suggestion?

Umair, 24 Sep 2020I have just came across person using note 8 since launch of... moreI had the same opinion about chipsets, but it doesn't seem like that really, my note edge is snapdragon at 2.7.Ghz x4.cpu set, now i got this g.note8 that is exynos 4.x 2.3.Ghz and 4x 1.7.Ghz clock frequencies and you know what...the note8 is way faster and snapper.
