Seams ok for me but the price is little to much for what you get.
Compering with iphone is comical since it's extremely closed solution with a lot of bugs and charged for the name not what you get.
The battery that many nag about that it's not changeable have some learning to do, you change it in the same way you change a damage screen but with the back panel, the battery will come to the retailer stores a while after the relies, doesn't surprise me if the s8+ battery fit.

This is the big mobile. I dont like 6.3 inch. Samsung should not make Note series like this. 5.5 or 5.7 is perfect for Note series.

Yeah first impression without looking at the specs etc.
Its a nice looking phone and sure its appears to have greats specs just scanning over them but boi that price is stellar !!
$1500 AUD have they gone completely insane ?!!! You want us to pay for the entire recall of the Note 7 in one hit?
Come on Samsung thats friggin savage !!

no ir-blaster! but they have room for f****** bixby button!! . Note4 was the last great phablet. All Sammy had to do was take the Note 4, with all it's features, add all new features from Note 5, and 7, and the new ones from note8 and try to make it pretty. is that so hard!

Assu, 23 Aug 2017Most of them asking for infrared... for what purpose it is ... moreUsed as a remote control. I used my old Galaxy S4 (one of the best phones ever made IMO) as a remote for almost everything in my house, my parents house, even my friends houses LOL. Air conditioners, TV's, stereo receivers, BluRay player etc...

195 grams ! These companies have lost there minds . Extremely uncomfortable to hold such a heavy brick for a long conversation. Or is it the end of conecting people with good old fashioned verbal conversations ? What's the point of having all the technology when a phone is not designed to be a phone . Smart maybe but dumb at 195 grams

AnonD-481463, 23 Aug 2017Here we go again! Flagships with old versions of Android .... moreAndroid 8 was released two days before the Note 8. It's not like they started manufacturing Note 8 yesterday. It's not like Android comes fully equipped from Google. Integrating drivers, which you may have to develop first, for the chips inside a particular phone is quite a job. Optimizing power usage for the particular hardware design isn't easy or quick. And it's not like they're using bare bones Android either. Adding the various Samsung and Note-specific features, and making sure everything works, is quite a lengthy process.

note 99, 04 Jan 2017I going to buy this phone only if it will have 16GB ram .. ... moreThat number doesn't mean it can't use bigger SD card. Have been using 128GB on a note that's 4 times bigger without problems, 64GB and 128GB on a Z1, 8GB and 16GB on a HTC Ty Tn and that 8 - 16 times bigger than supported.
