Why I prefer flagships basically is that the OEMs like Samsung will be forced usually by the market to update for years. And most the specs will be relevant in 5 years. So they are generally worth the investment.

no ir blaster, why? note 8, i shall g0 back to my note 4, people note 4 has all feature camera 16mp, front mounted, finger scanner, ir blaster, pdf, stylus pen , best battery.

My thoughts about the 3300 mAh battery:
- the 10nm processor needs around 30% less battery than the one inside most phones today, including the S7. But the display uses probably 70% of the power in a normal phone, so a more efficient processor does help but it doesn´t make a huge difference in terms of battery usage
what DOES make a difference is that the 6.3" in the screen are in a 18:9 screen - and not in a 2:1 screen - the ratio most phones today have.
The screen AREA of this 6.3" phone is actually something like 5% smaller than a 5.7" phone at 2:1.
Samsung knows this, and I hope the 3300 mAh won´t disappoint heavier phone users. I would not buy this phone right away after it came out, I would wait for comments and make a decision a couple of months after the release.

Have not understood that the series note is much better without birdes on the screen. The most practical design is still in Note 5 of 128gb. It is uncomfortable to use the pencil on the screen with borders. And on the other hand, up to Note 4, the processor of the Serue Note, was also superior to the S series. For from Note 5, the processor is the same. They have degraded the superiority and practicality of the Note series, which even the beteria is inferior (in case it explodes as in 7)

let me just understand what is going on here........3300 battery which is very small for 6.3 inch display and with 2k+ resolatio then why it has 8.5 thickness .......a dual 12 migapixel camera and they both aren't enough for beautiful images with high resolations and quality.....then at least there are no empiror edition which is a very bad news and thenthe price..........please tell me that this is untrue
