It seems that after the battery reset it improved again, now it has about 4,5 hours SOT and it's on 27%.

DBM, 05 May 2020After April security update my screen on time is 6 to 7 hour.
People saying SOT reduced after April update and you saying its 6-7 hrs which is i think ever best for Note 8?!!!
I'm not updating only because of many bad feedbacks pertaining to April patch!

i have not more than 230 dollars to spend and i can buy a second hand note 8 galaxy in blue color, with good battery. is it wroth it? it costs me 215 dollars equivelent and i really want this phonecuz design is so good and i like small top and bottom bezzels

So far only OnePlus is giving more major OS updates, not counting the Pixel phones. Other than that Sony is fast with updates but also only 2 major OS updates.

Are u using wifi 100% tim... moreWifi when I use apps that require internet connection otherwise it's mostly turned off, AOD only when tapping the screen, occasional short phone call, most apps I use are browsing with the standard samsung browser, instagram and youtube, battery is set to average battery safe mode. Overnight it's losing about 7-8% battery.
