Sixth Wave, 25 Mar 2020Note8 is really great phone i got it more than 2 years ago ... moreI would wait for the Note20, the Note10 looks great but it's not the real upgrade over the Note8 and Note9. I am looking forward to the Note20 to replace my Note8 after 3 years but if it doesn't live up to my expectations like the Note10 didn't, I will keep my phone for another year. So I would skip the Note10 and wait for the Note20.

Note8 is really great phone i got it more than 2 years ago but it will not receive more major updates aftet android 9 + the low battery performance
Planning to get the note10 plus does it worth the upgrade??

thats why samsung didn't wanted to take any risk and opted for a smaller battery.
now look at where we are with Note10+, a hefty 4300mah battery and 5000mah with s20 ultra. as samsung has fixed battery issues.

Phone is still a flagship, great in performing, everything about the phone is perfect, only hectic is the battery, dunno why they put such a little battery like this to a big phone has a big screen, a good processor and great performances.

Note 8 is a nice set, only battery is not enough for a 6.3 screen handset.

Perform the battery reset as written in previous older posts and see the result, it works very well.It's highly likely that it will work on your Note8 when you have battery related issues after software updates.
