[deleted post]Well they only talk about the S8, however the Note8 is newer. Hardware is plenty good enough to run Android 10. OnePlus gives their phones 3 major OS updates, and the hardware is plenty capable too. I hope so though, happy with my Note8 and it seems it’s almost more popular on this website than the Note9. I applaud Samsung if they give us android 10. If you do not need the update, simply do not update, the others can update when they they like to.

Husin, 15 Nov 2019Should i buy samsung note 8 in 2020? If you're ok that it won't get new major Android OS updates anymore and only security patches, yes still worth to buy this flagship. It's a brilliant and fast phone with a very good camera and all the benefits of the s-pen.

Sam799, 14 Nov 2019No notch, no punch hole..clear screen with the sexiest back... moreI think the back design with the horizontal camera setup looks much better than the Note 10's vertical design. The black bar in color versions other than black got a lot of criticism because it wasn't in the same color as the rest of the back, but the Note9 "fixed" this and it doesn't look as good as the black bar, in my opinion.
