I don't recive any software update since April 2019.
I made a factory reset in my phone in april and since then i didn't receive any software uptade.

If you are are looking to take advantage of a good phone at a discount. I would just buy the note 9 since it will be the last note with all the features including a headphone jack

Samsung A70 has the ultra wide angle.
Samsung Note 8 has OIS - optical image stabilisation.

Anonymous, 17 Jul 2019Is s8 plus a good optionOf course it is! I've used the S8+ and it was a very good phone in terms of camera & performance. Note 8 has a slight edge over the S8+ you get 6GB of RAM, dual camera & S-pen but still S8+ is a great phone.
