Hi, i am having problem with my sensors after updating to Oreo. is there any solution for this right now except replacing the motherboard (as advised by Samsung Service Centers). What would probably be the reason of this issue?

There are coming some changes in the AOD with android 9 pie. The default setting is going to be like Nokia Glance Screen, tap the screen to show the AOD for 30 seconds, then it turns off (Nokia Glance Screen was hovering your hand over the display to show the glance screen). You can change it in the settings to be really always on. I think that's a nice feature, it saves battery and can be activated anytime you want for 30 seconds.

I had the silver titanium and it was a head turner for sure with great performance and superb camera I used it for over a year. It's really sad that Samsung forgot this beast and limited it to Oreo although it could've handled the pie update with ease.

It's blazing fast and snappy, battery life easily lasts for over a day and the camera is awesome. Updates are regular got the January security patch update already and it's due for pie next month. If you're going for the note 9 then blindly go for it but right now I'm really enjoying my note 8 :-)

No more battery difference. Samsung Note is really executive hand set. I am using since JUL 2018. since than i enjoying with using it. its best for youtube netfilix.

It has 6 GB RAM compared to the S8+ with dual cameras and the s-pen which is really handy, also I like the boxy design of the note 8 than the curved design of the S8+

I don't know why, after security device update for January, the phone's battery drain quickly. the update is just around 25MB. Anyone has same problem with me? Hoping, update for android Pie, this phone doesn't have any problem with the battery.
