I read about some people had an update of around 750MB, I just got an update of around 560MB, January security patch.

I also wanted to buy the note 9 but it's very expensive fortunately I got a good deal on note 8 and I really love that phone getting it tomorrow :-)

Aadrian, 16 Jan 2019The Maple Gold looks nice, I have simply the black version.... moreI was desperate in getting the deep sea blue but it's not available anymore so I opted for the maple gold. I've used a lot of blacks in the past and wanted some change, black phones always look stunning no doubt about that but I went for the gold as it's somewhere close to silver. I wish they had the silver titanium for note 8 just like the S7 edge, that color is simply stunning!!

Other colors were not available where I live, so only Black and Gold. It would have been nice if they made a white version as well like they did with the Note9.

I also love the boxy design of note 8 and I definitely prefer it over the S8/S9 especially the back side with rectangular camera frame which I think looks quite unique, the back of the S9 looks more like an A8 though. Well as far as the color is concerned, they've black, grey and maple gold here so I'm gonna go for the maple gold which looks more like silver and that rectangular camera frame would really standout with a clear case on. Getting it this Friday :-)

I am not a fan of Samsung really, I only like the Note series. The S8 and S9 look fine, no notch, but they're too rounded for my taste, the Note8 and the Note9 are a little more boxier and the curve on the screen is less pronounced, I like that better. The size is something you get used to very quickly. And by today's standards, the size of the Note8 is pretty moderate by now.

They're trying their level best to pull down Samsung devices and promote their Chinese crap.

I'm currently using the A7 (2018) everything is good about it except the camera which is a mess, the battery life is awesome and easily lasts for 1.5-2 days. I'm getting a brand new note 8 for $501 and I really like it's design which looks way better than the S9 series.

I am using it for last 1 year, it ... moreYou my friend are a troll. i have it from a year and half and best device i ever had. still give me a full day of battery backup on moderate to heavy usage. finger print scanner not even once lagged, its still fast and does everything you throw at it, you maybe posted this review from a cheap Huawei or Mi device.

Try enabling dual audio in the bluetooth settings on the phone, it might work. Also check some other phone with your car system to see if it's the same issue..

Another 750+ MB update came through. It said the device security has been updated. Though the security patch is still the same as December which already came through before...
