My battery efficiency is between 88 to 95%, according to AccuBattery. I occasionally fully charge after 2 weeks or so, just to calibrate the counter.

Hello everybody
please let me know what percentage of battery health you'll get from the app Phone Info- Personal - Battery health . mine is 91/76% after 9 months use.
i was wondering why this battery wear has happened , the Samsung manager promised all galaxy note 8 users that the GN8 battery will lose 5% capacity after 2 years!!!

Aadrian, 02 Sep 2018I also use the AccyBattery app on my Note8 and my Note FE. Ah, the Note FE is of course the (safer) Note7 - which I had for 45 days until I had to return it. The FE or Note7 just reminds me of an S7 Edge with the S Pen (which was far more useful with).
I was tempted to get the FE, but since the Note8 was coming, it just made sense to hold off. I wasn't wrong doing that.
Note8 with my S Pen function jotting and drawing needs just overshadows regular smartphones.

I have used the Note8 about 10 months now. Since January, I have been using AccuBattery app to monitor the battery's wear and tear, and efficiency rate it of the built-in 3300mAh capacity.
Current set of 170+ charging sessions reveal an 89% or just 2900+ mAh of actual battery capacity that the battery can fully hold.
http://flic.kr/p/NxQcyu
Decline in battery capacity is expected, and just seeing the percentage counter will not reveal the actual current capacity as a brand new battery was before.
I advice using the AccuBattery app to know what your current battery capacity is now.

I used the Note9 some total of 24 hours - my wife's. While the feel of a brand new phone is great, the experience was the same as the Note8 - the core functions, same camera output (I do not see the variable aperture makes a leap), same screen quality, just doubled the base internal memory storage, an overkill 512GB option, and I would not be even using the BT function of the S Pen for remote controlling it (my Gear S3 can do that).
Bottom line is there is not need to upgrade from a Note8, unless you need a 512GB option. Memory storage can easily be supplemented with a large capacity microSD card, and 8GB RAM for senseless multiple apps being open at the same time, or you do more than 10,000 by 10,000 pixel digital art on a Galaxy Note (I sure can).

This is my last Note device. Always w
as a vivid fan of the Note series. But here is everything stops.
My Note 4 and Note 5 destroyed do to an strange security patch update.
I know everything about rooting so both with mother board destroyed.
Note 8 still on Android 7.
Weak battery life? Go to apps. Find that app that is counting your steps and go to permision and disable body sensor and then the app.
After that go to Play store main app (the bigger one)go to permision and disable body sensor. Now you have strong battery life for your Note. Hope its helps.
I think with this last update Sammy is killing his product to buy the latest product. Its called profit.

Anonymous, 24 Aug 2018thx very much but i want to be sure if there is any problem... moreI had no problems with the glass cracking. However, I highly recommend buying a tpu case so that it covers the edge. Some cases from Otterbox raise the phone so the screen will not make any contact with a surface. I have a 5$ clear tpu case and a 2$ gel screen protector (not tempered glass).
