From past couple of days I am experiencing the issue from the note 8's sensors. Not working auto rotation, not working iris scanner and not working proximity sensor. Anyone experiencing this type of issue? Please help me guys

As per fast wireless, with all original hardware, heat generated from the 40% power loss will always be present. The science of thermodynamics will not change due to a personal opinion of how it works in our reality - heat is generated from inductive charging process.

Wireless charging will ALWAYS be the SLOWEST method of charging and most INEFFICIENT energy transfer. Takes up to 4 times longer to charge - that’s 2.5 hours just to charge 50%. which only takes half that time for regular wired charging. Even slower if your are actually using the device while charging. It is just the silliest thing to be wirelessly charge. Just unplug the power from the wireless charging pad and be done topping up on power and go on with not being stuck waiting for charging.

A REAL Note8 user through a battery app will know that “fast” wireless is only up to 0.7 Amperes, and will slow down to 0.4 Amperes when the Note8 reaches a temperature 38-39 degrees Celsius within 10 minutes. Anyone can test this.

No slowing and no more heat generated from regular wired because it only reaches 35-36 degrees Celsius at peak. Wireless charging is a constant almost 40 degrees Celsius heat till you take your Note8 away.

No Note8 has been ever been reported EXPLODING due to charging by regular WIRED and more energy efficient charging.

In the video I posted, it is like consuming TWICE more energy than to just manually plug the wire to recharge your device. You are adding to the carbon footprinting by doing wireless charging.

    Science fact, not personal opinion.

As per actual experience there is not even a warm felling from the phone body when I charge my phone on the ORIGINAL Samsung wireless charging pad to full charge.
I mean the ORIGINAL wireless charger, not imitation.
Unlike when I use the wired charger that charge faster and stresses the phone battery.
Everybody knows that stressing the battery leads to early battery failure.
Therefore wired charging will lead to early battery failure compared to SLOW wireless charging.

Science fact triumphant over personal opinions: current wireless charging is only 60% efficiency in transferring the power used. That missing 40% power is wasted as heat, thereby adding more temperature to a phone.

Anyone can test this: leave your phone on a wireless charger overnight - it's warm when you pick it up in the morning. On the other hand, regular wired charging is 100% efficient, with no warm phone body in the morning. Numerous YouTube videos confirm this. Heat kills the battery faster.

Dobby issue my word on this, just watch: http://youtu.be/iOVg62_DUYU

Wireless charging is safer since it is slow, it will not stress the phone, unlike the wired charging that increases the phone temperature while charging just like what happened to the ill fated Note 7.
Better monitor your phone while charging with wired charger.
No worry for me since I use wireless charging which is safer and user and phone friendly.

Wired charging and not even using the fast charging is way faster than even fast wireless charging. I wish wireless charging is as fast as wired charging method, or should not produce a lot more heat. Such is not the case with the present technology - I have a fast wireless charging pad and not yielded satisfactory results. I find it such a gimmick to having people believe that it is "convenient" but it takes up to 2-4 times longer to charge, and you not using the Note8 while charging is happening. Case point: Starbucks wireless charging spots on their tables - you put down your Note8 on that spot very properly, trying to use it will have you at an awkward position to look at the screen and will charge like 8 times more since you are using it.

Regular charging at average 1.5 Ampere can charge 50% per hour (slows down towards the end of the charging session), while fast wireless charging only charges average 0.7 Ampere (slows down to 0.3 Ampere automatically when temperature reaches 38 degrees Celcius). That means wireless charging is up to 4 times SLOWER than regular wired charging, with more heat being generated in a shorter time. Heat is the number one enemy of the battery than will degrade the battery's ability to hold power. Anyone can check the temperature of the phone.

Keeping the charge up to only 80% as a max charging for the day will help the battery's health for the long term. Ideally keeping the battery's charge to 50% to 60% will even further the life of the Note8's battery up to more than 10 times battery cycle than the usual 300 to 500 charging cycles. Partial charging will help do this with charging after 10-15% being consumed which is also known as the Depth of Discharge (DoD). http://flic.kr/p/J9T9mh

Best practice that I'm doing is with a magnetically back-attaching WIRED power pack - I charge like 10-15 minutes at a time and my Note8 will remain not as thick when you take off the battery pack. http://flic.kr/p/22EoVJS

The only times I see wireless charging as useful is when you need a spark-free environment like chemical labs, or the charging port is wet.

Deepak, 11 Jul 2018Guyss please tell me which is better Galaxy note 8 or one ... moreWell which is better in features, the Note8. Which is better pricewise, the OP6. The question is what do you look for in a phone? A load of specs unmatched by others or good and fast updates and a more affordable price? I can only tell if you go for the Note8, you'll love it. But maybe you prefer the OP6.

I use the zerolemon 5500mah slimpower battery case. Doesn't make my note8 uber bulky but gets the job done and lets me keep away from the outlet for a couple of days. More importantly, i don't have to bring any extra devices like a power bank or rely on wireless chargers for those couple of days. All i need is my pocket. I find that loads more convenient than your preference but to each his own.

                          Please tell me in comments

I can't stress enough for real Note8 users to get even a minimal protection (skins do not count) against drops. Even if you are "very careful" and "never drop" you phone, something or someone will. Best minimal protection that I'm using is the Rhinoshield Crashguard:
                            http://flic.kr/p/HL6TWn

It had saved my Note8 from one nasty drop from a 1-meter fall facing down.

And to charge it is the nifty Scosce 4000 mAh that magnetically attaches to the back of the Note8. Charges with 2 Ampere speed to top up you battery. Taken off after not needed any more for no bulk on the phone.
                            http://flic.kr/p/22EoVJS

Fast wireless charging takes 3x more time to charge the same amount.

Our office provides free WiFi internet for all employees.
And while outside the office I have monthly unlimited data subscription, not 5GB, not 6GB it is unlimited every month.
Extended battery means you have to carry additional bulky battery with you every where.
While my wireless charging pad is stationed only in the office.
Another in the car and another at home. All I have to carry is my phone, no extra battery.

My slim Note 8 feels comfortably inside my pocket whatever I do, like sitting, squatting.
By the way, no worry in our office. I can even leave my wallet on my table and nobody will even think to touch it. We are all professionals here and we receive more than enough salary to think of stealing other people's belongings.
