Samsung Galaxy Note9 receives another Android 9.0 Pie beta update

Ro, 11 December 2018

Samsung has recently launched the beta testing program for its flagship phones from this year and since the Galaxy Note9 is one of them, it just got the second update so far and bumps up the build number to N960FXXU2ZRL6 and weighs just over 550MB. However, the newly introduced patch brings minor changes but squashes quite a few bugs along the way.

Similarly to the latest Galaxy S9/S9+ patch, this one takes care of some of the annoying issues that plagued the previous software beta version. The autofill is now working properly, the Dialer app doesn't crash anymore, the YouTube app is no longer closing when you enter the recent apps menu and the response delays during calls are eliminated.

Additionally, the OTA update brings the December security patch and it's safe to assume that the non-beta Galaxy Note9 owners will be getting the security patch sooner than later.
