Am an android user (sm-p601 to be precise), tired of samsungs's sluggishness. let's appreciate a good tin for once.apple did well this time around.from my experience, there ain't much difference btw 1080p and 1440p on a small screen, moreover 1440p only add more stress to your phone's internals (gpu, etc).
Theoritically speaking, since A8 is 50% faster than A7 gpu wise, that's means A8 is faster than snapdragon 800,801 and arguably 805.putting all these and others into consideration, apple indeed nailed it this time around.
#keepthegoodjob apple, let haters keep hating.
Note:will sell my sm-p601 as soon as the ipad air 2(whatever the name is) is unveiled.
Note:still no kitkat update for me, and android L is just around the corner. Is that fair?

It is a official one
I am from Sri Lanka
My model is 605 4G model
Following the update note runs very smoothly
Initially my network 4G band was not supported but now supporting to my device

This is the best thing ever, I've got the LTE model and it is super Fast! I can download over a gig worth of files in few seconds, and for gamers the graphics are awesome although the software apps consume a lot of space but it is worth it. Currently it is unrivalled.

Samsung will tactically delay sm-p601 kitkat update in some regions, and at the end of the day they (samsung) will tell you, your device is over 2 yrs old and has long passed d update circle or your device internals do not support the latest firmware. Samsung is forgetting that the latest firmware was released by Google months b4 d end of d update circle of the particular device in question.
We ain't fools samsung, not everyone likes rooting.i need my updates fast nd smooth. #sadsamsunguser (sm-p601 ), Africa.

hi all. I read this tablet is getting updated to kitkat. I'm still jellybean and haven't received update yet. This cost me £499 and it shud have had kitkat in it. Let's hope I get update soon.

I am quite sure that it depends on the GSM signal as when I leave the wireless on only it doesn't happen ever.
Instead with GSM on it usually comes when it looks for a GSM signal or switch cell
