You mean USB flash drives? Yes it can, but you need an adapter for it. I have one and use it all the time to copy pdf, word, and powerpoint presentations onto my Note 10.1 so I can view or edit them during business trips using Polaris Office (its built-in).

Ipad is only better at screen and the rest this tablet is good.

My 13" laptop has the same resolution as this tablet but due to the larger area a lower pixel density of 113 compared to the 149 of my note 10.1
Still viewed at the same distance all text on the laptop is perfectly smooth (even up close) whereas on this tablet text is all pixelatlated and jagged..why is so? Shouldn't the higher pixel density of the tablet account for better definition? Is there any downloadable font that could help smoothing things out? This is a great tablet except for this, even from afar all text is jagged and not sharp.

No adobe flash player !!!!,!,!Flash Player for Android is no longer available for download from the Google Play app store, but Android users can still download and install Flash Player from the Archived Flash Player Versions page on the Adobe website. To do so, please follow the steps below:
1.Make sure your Android device is connected to the Internet.
2.Open the Settings menu.
3.Select Security (or Applications, on older Android OSs).
4.Place a checkmark next to the "Unknown sources" check box.
5.Tap OK to confirm your selection.
6.Close Settings.
7.Launch the browser.
8.Search for "flash player archive page" or navigate directly to http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html.
On the Archive page, scroll down to "Flash Player for Android archives"
10.Select a version of Flash Player that is compatible with your Android operating system.
11.Tap the link to download the Flash Player installer. Download begins automatically.
12.When download completes, close the browser.
13.Open Notifications.
14.Tap "install_flash_player.apk"
15.When prompted, tap Install.
16.When installation is finished, tap Done.
I hope this will help,& it does Work on my Note 10.1.

You can also download Adobe Reader from there too. This tablet comes with an app called S Note that allows you to create custom PDF files. You will like this tablet!

Can anyone help? I really wanna buy the galaxy note but I'd like to know whether or not you will be able to connect a usb directly into the device. Also whether there are any programs or apps on it that allows you to create documents like a Word or powerpoint typa thing. Lastly will I be able to read pdf and powerpoint documents. Thanx

pet, 02 Dec 2012Yes.its only 1gb.the ram is 2gb... You can check the hardware in the menu. A 1gb ram cannot do the superb stuff this note does. No argument!
