Subbu, 11 Jun 2016Recently purchased 2012 make 10.1 tab it was fine, but only... moreI faced similar issue and restored stock ROM (4.0.1) from a local shop.
The charging issue is stopped and it charges fully in 3 hrs. Discharging comes for continuous 9 hrs. roughly. But the issue I face is the idle time life. It drains quickly if it is turned on and idle.

I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8013 that I bought from my little brother for $30 and I love it. I ended up selling my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 tablet I had to a friend, as I didn't need it anymore and I believe the Note 10.1 tablet is far better than the Tab 4. I mostly use my Note 10.1 to draw and color and the S-Pen just helps make that a whole lot better and I definitely enjoy it more on the Note than the Tab 4, as with it I had to use a large rubber tip stylus to do my drawings and color. If you want to unlock your Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets full potential and get the most out of it, I suggest you root your device then. Someone has made it extremely easy for anyone to root their Note 10.1 or almost any mobile device by using the Kingroot app. All you have to do is follow the simple step by step instructions on how to use the Kingroot app and within a few short minutes your Note 10.1 will be rooted and ready to go. I suggest that you Google Kingroot app and read all about what the app does and how to use it before you install it. I would really love to have the 2014 Note 10.1 instead, but unfortunately I don't have the means to make that happen, as I'm disabled from having cancer since Nov09. I would not turn down anyone who might want to donate a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 ed. to me and I will extremely appreciative to such person. Lol

My galaxy tab drained out its battery like 0% and i kept on trying to power it up and it came on and the power shot up to 100% just like that,without me charging it and just then it switched off .I put it on charge but its not responding am not sure wat the problem might be ,is it becoz maybe the battery cells have lapsed and it just died out??? Or maybe i ruined it by draining it out beyond limits??If anyone can help i would gladly appreciate

I bought this tablet a few years ago and I am very satisfied, it's still one of my best tech gadgets. I just discovered that works fine also with 128gb micro sd (I have one from sundisk) which is great for storing movies. I wish samsung makes another worthy successor (besides the 2014 one), a full specced tablet, with the same 16:10 aspect ratio and sPen support
