Note 3 will get no more updates,its a 2yr old model,ACCEPT IT,just enjoy it and stop worrying and losing sleep over updates for Christ sake.move on ?

Funny thing is, Nearby Devices function (just like in the Note.5) is MISSING. Another move by Samsung so now your files can't be read by older tablets like my Note 8 without the need for a WiFi router. I used that a lot.

                  Air View with your finger is gone too.

                  The strong thing that is anchoring me to the ROM is the LTE Only option - very useful to block phone calls yet have high speed LTE data on. I doubt the official 5.1.1 update for the Note 3 will ever have the LTE Only option in network settings.

                  5.0 for the Note 3 is pretty optimized already. You can actually install Off Screen Memo if you need it.

                    r1, 02 Feb 2016Try to ask for android 5.1.1 ?i think note 3 will get 5.1.1 update. like i said i wasnt supposed to get 5.1.1 update on note edge. but i did. but they kept telling me my model wasnt geting it. so ive got this feeling we will get 5.1.1 update for note 3. sam live is closed. but when i was on it few days ago they said their devs can change their minds about which phones get updates and said to keep checking this month as updates are being pushed out in feb and march. so dont give up hope. sam live chat are keeping things hush. il keep asking them r1

                        note 3 is more than a phone. like any os it will need updates. updates are very important as they fix nd repair known bugs. makes the phone more secure. and let users enjoy any inhancments that the update brings. alot of ppl whos use thier phone for work ie students of all ages
                        to top buisness ppl need a secure phone to depend on. its like a pc in your pocket.
