Swiping across is such a nuisance compared to just pressing home+power.
I really hope we get 5.1.1 and this problem gets fixed else custom roms are the way to go.

r1, 31 Jan 2016Just checked note 3 neo 5.1.1 its so stable and uses less r... morewell lets hope n900 model gets it because that update will solve the problems your having and you will get to enjoy your note 3 again. i really think n900 should have got that update before neo. but note 3 has better specs. thats why on sam live chat i was asking more about n900. so fingers crossed you receive it soon r1

AnonD-491587, 31 Jan 2016would be great if they do provide us with update r1. Just checked note 3 neo 5.1.1 its so stable and uses less ram and its ui is smooth when compared to my n900, feeling very sad for my n900 !

I must say, with some aluminum bumper frame, and extended battery, you can transform the 2-year-old Note 3 that's more reliable and still looks brand new:

Mimi, 31 Jan 2016Where did you buy your replacement batteries from?Ebay. Some are even selling at $9 fir the back cover and double-capacity battery. My old Samsung desktop cradle charger can charge the double capacity:

There are triple-capacity ones, but they're about $35, but I don't like the silicone cover that becomes loose over time. Hard plastic covers are more solid and I can still use my aluminum bumper frame:
