Anonymous, 24 Jan 2016i have note 3 n9005. took good care of it for 2yrs. now i'm... moreFollow these steps:

      1. If your Galaxy Note 3 is in a continuous boot cycle or suffers from it then remove the back cover and remove the battery. Leave the back cover off.
      2. Remove the SD card.
      3. Insert the battery and boot. Wait for the device to fully boot.
      4. Go to Menu -> System Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Menu -> Advanced
      5. Uncheck ‘Always allow scanning’
      6. Use back key until you’re home.
      7. Turn off the device.
      8. Insert the SD card.
      9. Attach the back cover.
      10. Turn the device on.
To confirm, I tried booting the device three times with the ‘Always allow scanning’ Wi-Fi setting checked and it ended up in a continuous boot cycle. With the ‘Always allow scanning’ Wi-Fi setting unchecked the device boots fine every time.

AnonD-478315, 24 Jan 2016Can some1 tell me does any one have problem like i...why my... morethats caused by using flash when taking a photo. its happened to me few times. its bacause the person looking at the camera when you take their photo the flash goes of which gives red eye. so try taking flasn off and take a photo again. it happens in low light to. hope this helps.

So, I went and flashed to a modified ROM (again) that ported the Note.5's features to the Note 3. So, I have almost all the features of the Note.5 - obviously no fingerprint scanner(duh), no heartbeat sensor, and lost some features of the Note 3 like finger AirView, the menu capacitive button on the left has become recent apps, no more Nearby Devices. Quick Connect and the Smart Connect replaces the Nearby Devices functions.

The wonderful thing about the ROM (by DarkLord) notably has LTE ONLY (oh yeah), S6 Camera functions with the quick launch by double clicking the home button, Off Screen Memo, People Edge, Apps Edge, Ultra Power Saving Mode, and all the skin/theme of the Note.5 Battery is excellent, with one charge, I can go on for 17H+, with 6H of actual screen on usage time while I downloaded some 1.5GB of YouTube and torrents, social media, Some 3H accumulated video watching, BT on, hotspot with LTE for 2 hours. It's better by one hour if I compared it with Android 5.0. You can see the stats here:

              http://www.flickr.com/photos/92800985@N06/shares/5501mf

6 hours of screen on usage is probably due to the fact that the Note 3 has a 1080p than a 1440p screen resolution that contribute to longer screen on use. LTE only option is quite big to me - but you proably can't get phone calls and SMS. It's perfect to me because I would like to use my LTE unlimited data for streaming to a Chromecast for my lectures - I would not want to have a phonecall coming in on screen.

Just funny that the Note 3 will actually be better than the Note.5 with some of the Note.5's features, but with removable/swappable battery, infrared remote control functions, and the wonderful fact that I can have an extra 120GB with a micro SD card.

I'll be sticking with this ROM for a bit longer with the excellent performance. Just be sure you know how to root and upload ROMs. Not responsible if you do a booboo and brick your phone.

i have note 3 n9005. took good care of it for 2yrs. now i'm told by samsung service centre that i have to pay 14k pesos to replace the board! restarting can't boot, just loops. and if it boots after some time the screen is totally black. so frustrating...and expensive!

Esmat78, 23 Jan 2016i have just bought it from a couple of days with android 5 ... moreso your note 3 N9005 came with 5.0 when you bought it? have you never had it switched on? n9005 model on 5.0 is really smooth. has your family got the same model as yours N9005? or N9000? you might like it on your note 3. thats the only way your going to find out. yes 5.0 has problems on model n9000. but n9005 model no problems for me and some other users. so before thinking of downgrading which is risky just try using your note 3 first before you do anything. you might find you like lollipop Esmat78:)

Esmat78, 23 Jan 2016i have just bought it from a couple of days with android 5 ... moreyou should try using your note 3 and see how it goes. you might like it on 5.0 and you can go into setting and scroll down to about phone and check for software updates. your note 3 could be diff on 5.0 than your brothers or sisters. they will receive stability updates. yes if you know what your doing you can downgrade. you can go through odin. google it and it gives you instrucions how to do it. but its risky and it could go wrong. i personally wouldnt advice it. so i would say try your note 3 on 5.0 for a while. its going good on mine which is same model as yours. has your family got the same model of note 3 like yours? n9005? or N9000? one more thing. never give out your email address on forum. not safe. hope this helps Esmat78:)
