AnonD-491587, 22 Jan 2016glad 5.0 is working okay for you TheNeighbour.I don't have to keep worrying about running out of battery, or needing to plug in.

Today I managed on a single battery which lasted 16.5 hours, with 4H26M screen on for mostly browsing, Bluetooth earset connected, 6H music & audio book, a bit of Chromecasting and downloaded 355 MB of a TV episode.

Here is that progressive screenshots of my battery usage from 4 different time periods of today:
                http://www.flickr.com/photos/92800985@N06/shares/q0S6DU

Normally I download 2 to 4 GB of media, so 355 GB is small data usage in contrast. One thing is for sure, a single battery can last you till you get home if you only use it for moderate social media, some 500 MB of data use, some 3-4 hours music, and even Bluetooth connected the entire day.

I don't have to go over to the custodian where I work for the remote controller. Waste of time of filling up a form and even returning it.

But with Note 3, you can do it yourself, no need to go to the service center. You can save the spare time for other important activity.
                              See the difference?"

Features and improvements USUALLY make the device downgrade. It seems Samsung is doing good.

Taking out infrared, removable battery, memory expansion, will never downgrade the phone with those useless features. I know most people are not using extra battery with their phone even if has removable battery, not most people put expansion memory card to their phone even it has SD card slot, and most of all almost nobody care about the primitive infrared remote control that can be use only to limited brand of TVs.

Only 1% of phone users are using those features.
