if you are an actual user can you tell me if note 3 performance slows with time? for example after 6 months of use if its not speedy as on day 1?

i am a macbook pro 2013 user and currently using BB. these days i am choosing btw 5s and note 3/alpha.
i am really confused between iPhone and android. i like the flexibility and features of note 3. you can do almost anything with the set and options are unlimited. plus it gives you a feel of being free. however, the drawback as i have heard from ppl is that it hangs sometimes and this hanging can increase with time.
for 5s i like that everybody says its fluid and smooth graphics. however, no proper multi tasking. the fact which really turns me off about an iPhone is that its not even capable of playing mkv format (which is most common one for torrents and HD videos). i cant afford converting a simple mkv format to mp4 to be able to play it on my phone. Also you can't download a music file directly form browser within iOS. isn't that too much of restrictions make me feel like it will make me hard to breath
Also i heard on iPhone you get only standard quality in online videos and HD option is not available like in samsung. (is that true??)
please comment and help me to choose. thnx

dear friends,
please help me out. now i am in japan came in ship here. i am planning to buy a galaxy note 3 here.it was network provided locked phone and they unlocked it and brought in to ship to sell. so its not sealed pack. so i am confused to buy. whether its brand new or second hand. its used before or not.
so guys anybody please give me some help how to find out whether its used or not!!!! and also how to find out its original or duplicate!!

Lucky samsung you got the best of the hardware. Please make your software support more competitive. You will lose your name on the list if you keep doing that.
