it is pretty big phone for hand and pocketing ...but performances are great for me , i am very sattisfied with this phone ...AMOLED display is great !

I am using original S-view cover made in Korea and there have never been a problem even I updated my N9005 to Android 4.4.2.

For my baby, I use only apps compatible to Android 4.4.2. There will always be Jelly Bean apps counterpart on Kitkat.
And developers will not stop creating new ones and better apps.

Tcool, 04 May 2014I use ES File Explorer and it works without flaw on my N900... moreI've been using Astro because it could also access my cloud files as well. I need to do what others did to debug this aspect. Picture taking to memory card works.
I got the AllShareCast to connect with my TV after a hard reset.
I could never do this with the Note II and 8, discovered feature with 4.4.2 on Note 3 is it can screen mirror while you take pictures. Maybe this was on 4.3 before?
Battery seems to be draining fast. This is probably the Note 3 is going through the paces with the battery calibration and syncing my cloud and micro SD card files. As I said, I'm giving this a week.
I miss root as I need to research the proper method specifically for 4.4.2 add the previous method doesn't work.

Anonymous, 03 May 2014I have just bought a note 3 and would like to know if it is... moreIt all depends on the chip in the back of the case. some updates disable the chip in some cases but I have the samsung brand case and it works great. It's pricey but worth it.

Android 4.4.2 update for Note 3 has disabled the Astro file explorer app to transfer/write on the micro SD card. Dang it. But the onboard MyFiles app can though.

I had lot of problems with my note3. 3 months no problems and from then onwards it hangs very frequently and had to reset ( and did 5 times so far) to make it operational. Touchwiz is the culprit and had given to service center and they came back to me saying that they couldnt repair the device and they agreed to give the original amount for which i had bought ( i am yet to receive the money).
Its a good phone but not worth ( after facing so many issues in less than 6 months). I am not sure whether the processor and all parts are same across the globe.
but i had very very tough time with note3.

Had some after update to 4.4.2 but everything is solved after I did a factory reset. My battery backup improved even better when I started using battery doctor app from KS Mobile...

Thank goodness I am not experiencing any of those problems.

AnonD-53316, 03 May 2014I faced some battery drainage problem in last few days, aft... moreLooks like I need to make a hard reset too. I was glad I got to retain the installed apps and their data onto 4.4.2. I now can't connect to AllShareCast of my Samsung TV!
Oh well, I'll stick with 4.4.2 for a week to give a full assessment of this update. If it really annoys me and see less benefits, I'm going back to 4.3.

Even though sometimes we don't prefer resetting but after a big update factory reset is required.
