AnonD-143814, 26 Apr 2014Having an removable battery is one of the best things about it.Not all will be ever thinking of getting an extra battery for those times you need to. Samsung has kept this option for the longest time since removable battery seems to be a big hit in South Korea with some bundle in an extra battery with a purchase.

Fixed battery on a phone are is not enough to power the device for heavy users and will not last till night time.

The Galaxy Note 3 has a good battery, but with the heavy way I use it, I need at least an additional 50% capacity. No matter whichever you look at it, the most convenient and most effective is with a removable battery option to replace or extend power - it takes just above a minute from turning off the device, replacing the battery and restarting it fully. Plugging in to an outlet or a a power bank will take time - hours. Power jackets will never give you the 100% capacity it indicates, roughly only 70% and is dead weight and makes your Note 3 longer to an un-pocketable proportion.

I can't understand the need to have a fixed battery system by companies like HTC, Apple and Sony. This works for office people to plug in over their desks, but not for all who move about. Is adding a millimeter or two worth the sacrifice of at least providing a larger battery too much? The whole point of a modern smartphone is to be wireless, not be plugged in trice the day so you can showoff how it's less than 7mm, yet carry a power charger and a power bank.

        Well to all Note 3 user here.. kindly ignore those people who like to bashed Note 3.. Jealousy kills and we know that since long ago.. Everytime when there is a perfect creation, there will be some basher who like to bash the product to find satisfaction within themselves by doing so. As long as we enjoy the phone ourselves, just ignore those people around which make negative impact towards u.. for those ppl who bashing around, work & study harder, you can afford one in near future. Don't be a keyboard warrior... there is no perfect phone out there, but note3 is near perfect.. why I say so? Sales figure prove it all, unless u think those ppl who bought note3 are all stupid ppl, and u think u are the genius. get a life pls..

          Guys it not whats better..its wat suits u.....iam using both nokia lumia 1020 and note 3 9002 dual sim....soo for me my primary phone is lumia 1020 and then note 3....both are amazing phones...but I love the windows UI and lovely live tiles...the OS is very smooth...as note 3 is good but does lag sometime after having snapdragon processor and 3 gb ram....I think windows has a very good future and 8.1 for windows phone is mind blowing....its getting very close to android and ios....

                Side Sync 3.0 is really amazing!
                It controls my Note 3 N9005 in a virtual screen on a PC thereby saving battery power of the phone.

                      I used S pen for following application. These applications are so easy and comfortable with only S pen.
                      1. Autocad 360
                      2. Google translate's handwriting mode.
                      3. Floor plan creators.
                      4. CAD touch
                      5. AndCAD
                      6. S Note
                      7. Autodesk's Sketchbook

It was that arrogant notion they couldn't be beaten that ended their reign. Even the 1520 isn't as hot as you would like to think. You can't even put it in a pocket.

                        I happen to be a Windows user, and Microsoft's Surface Pro 2 is on my list because it has a Wacom digitizer. They're in a good position to provide that with future smartphones. Too bad you wrote too soon.

                          The Wacom digitizer (aka the S Pen) is a standard in the digital artist community. It's what makes the Note series stand out from the rest. Samsung is the first to implement it on a smartphone.

But now I'm in dilama again, which to buy? If I'm buying a phone under 20k, I won't need much consideration! Since both the phones are above 40k.... I am unable to take a quick decision!

                                    High quality build?

                                    These are the basic factors which aid a user but Note 3 lags exactly in these features. Smartphone is all about to make your necesary tasks quick.

                                    The result is that Microsft is making smartphone fast and simple while Android is making it complicated and full of troubles.

                                    The OS which I think is well organized beside WP is iOS. Android is nowhere near to WP if you really need a proper smartphone not bug machine like Note 3 go for Lumia 1520. Samsung is selling toy not phone

                                        sunil, 25 Apr 2014windows phone doesn't have file manager and u can't share f... moreIt supports all files types from flv to pdf. Each type of file is visible in the app which supprts it. It doesn't show you file type that is unsupportable. Videos all in Xbox videos, Documents in Office. Its not like android where you have to keep searching for a sigle file in billions of folders but you'll never find it. Also file manager which can access each file in SD card can lead to leak security that is the reason 85% of Android phones are virus efected but youre so foolish to know that. That is the reason every Android user reset his phone every week because its OS get corrupted.

                                        And WP do have File Manager you just need to download it. Everything that is necesary that is available in WP. WP is more poerful than Android but the only difference is that WP is organized and have some rules while Android have just been developed without proper planning.
