I'm from India. I want to choose a Note 3. I'm very much confused, which to choose among N900, 9000, 9002, 9005 and so on! Please suggest me guys! Thanks in advance!

I can always restore everything back if I need to. Downloading ROMs take a lot of time though. You always need to download two ROMs - the original version and the new one. It takes roughly less than an hour to properly backup everything, install the firmware, restore the backup, root, reinstall all the apps from Titanium Backup, and it usually works.

TheNeighbor, 25 Apr 2014So, it's 4.4.2, and not 4.2.2? Oh, I guess the bugs have be... moreOk but don't blame me later, all I know is Android 4.4.2 is smooth and flawless in my N9005.
I don't know with other units.

The weakest build part of the Note 3 is the plastic chrome painted sides. It chips off if you don't cover it up, as I have seen some of colleagues have with their Galaxies.

I like the leather-like back cover of the Note 3. That's why I really went looking for a black aluminum frame bumper which offers a minimal protection and easy removal. The first one I had had to be screwed in place, preventing me easy battery change when I need to.

                    Have a look:

                    http://www.flickr.com/photos/92800985@N06/

Minimal, more or less not adding more than a millimeter in front to avoid the glass from touching the ground if you do drop it. I even used the separately sold S-Charger back cover for wireless charging so that it has a definite flat back to prevent it from wobbling.

If you look at the with and without cover comparisons, the black bumper make it look better.

The metal bumper cost less than $10. You should be able to look for one at eBay.

Can you miracast to TVs directly?

On papers Android seems to be more practical but it isn't.

Lumia 1520 battery is 3 times more than Note 3.

                                      Its camera is far superior.

                                      Built Quality is better.

Display is the best ever on phone. Specially in sunlight.

Due to Windows its use is Simple and super Fast.

Upgradable to WP 8.1 which has Cortanna, enhaanced UI, Shortcut settings, Fastest keyboard.

Lumia doesn't get Old no matter how rough you use.

You can install as much as spps as you can but you'll never feel any difference in performance so much consistent.

WP is so much stable you'll never need to reset your phone while in Android I do it every week because after sometime its performance get low as you install Apps.

WP has 300,000 apps in its apps store all of them are approved by Microsoft so are quality apps as compared to low quality apps in Google store which are full of bugs because Google has no check on its app store everyone can upload any app.

WP conssume less CPU and Memory as its OS is very efficient and well Organized.

Android on other hands has huge veriety of apps but they are full of bugs because 3rd party apps can change anything in android which causes huge mess and makes the OS unstable.

When you first start Android after factory settings, it works fine but after installing some apps on it its behaviour is completely changed it gets so much lagy even it can't load SMS without loading.

I still remember I used to have Lumia 920 which has quarter specs of Lumia 1520 but yet I installed 22 GB apps on that but trust me it was just like as it was without any app installed on it. But now with WP 8.1 it is now even more fluid.

And if you still want to go for Android then go for LG Google Nexus 5 that is pure Android. NO Samsung, HTC, Sony is match for it, you can confirm it from any expert.
