Tcool, 25 Apr 2014Maybe that is the price of rooting his device.Sorry, it's not because it's on root. We have people who are not on root complaining. Josh, while on root like me, use stock Note 3 Android firmware by Samsung.

I do need it to work without losing any of its original stock apps like S Note, and I need those automatically updated on my Samsung cloud account.

Root just gives me a whole lot of freedom to control everything like freezing or uninstalling useless stock apps, making security apps become systems apps, tweaking the CPU to lower clock speeds, use Tasker for automating with Autoremote to remote it with my iPod without taking the Note 3 out.

I just don't have the time right now to tinker with 4.2.2. I'll probably try it out next week and root the entire device again. And if there's something wrong, I need to bring it back to 4.3. That takes time.

TheNeighbor, 25 Apr 2014There are just conflicting stories. I'm not saying I don't ... moreHis device was rooted. My N9005 is not so I cannot try the Titanium Backup app. But I tried to check the camera settings of my unit and the storage was peacefully set to memory card. I even tried to record 8 seconds 3840x2160 (16:9) video and it was automatically saved to SD memory card.

I don't know what this issue about Kitkat is but no matter how I tried to find flaws, I just can't. My N9005 updated to Android 4.4.2 Kitkat was perfectly working well ever since.
I am more satisfied now than when it is in Jelly Bean.

I'm waiting on another update and reviews before committing.

My N9005 was updated to Android 4.4.2 and I can still move apps to external SD card and everything works faster than before, that is why I am very happy I updated it to Kitkat.
                Cheers!

I just stumbled on this video showing that there is an issue with the external micro SD card prevented being written with the Kitkat Android 4.4.2 update, and how to fix it via root.

How To Fix External Storage (Micro SD Card) issue…: http://youtu.be/YM81FoTaaxs

The video is pretty latest, and I'm convinced I'd rather not still update to 4.2.2.

                    Great phone, got it today.
German Note 3, n9005, came out of the box with 4.4.2, there was a small 13 MB update, which i installed immediately. Everything still working smoothly. I can't comment on the battery life yet, but i can say that the phone is blazingly fast.
I chose Note 3 over the S5, because since TouchWiz is ram dependent launcher, the extra gig of ram will help a lot.

Well I think there must be something with one of the specs shown in this website. And it's about the processor of Galaxy Note 3. Isn't it that the processor of of Galaxy Note 3 is 1.6 Quadcore? Not 2. something that shown on top?

Stopping on which phone is good and which one is bad, we should emphasize on how we share our views on enhancement of our Note 3. Because this page is on Note 3.

(I don't think you'd visit copy-paste the same information from Sony provided as that other user.)" - Don't really understand what you mean.

But for my T2, it's unfair to compare with my Note 3 (full time on 4G). Because my Note 3 served as my main phone for FB, Wechat, Whatsapp, Surfing net, listen to musics, gamings and many more.. It last a day..

Whereas for my T2, average of 2 to 2 1/2 days usage per charge. mainly use for phone calls and on wifi (sometimes only).

My wife inherited the Note II with 2 extra batteries and battery cradle. Excellent battery usage, even slightly farther than the Note 3 since it only operated with 3G. I remember it laying for 17 hours, with more than 7 hours of screen on usage, with data on and downloaded torrents.

I'm curious - how does this T2 Ultra fair with heavy usage? I don't think you'd visit copy-paste the same information from Sony provided as that other user.

Fixed batteries just aren't my thing. Inconvenient since I am a power user.

S pen is amazing. Autocad 360, Google translate's handwriting mode and many more other drawings applications are very easy to operate using through only S Pen.

Better than Note 1 but slower than Note 2.. However my Note 2 faced SDS, I sell it as spare parts without attempt to repair it since Note 3 is launched by that time.. Super Amoled FHD just rocks!

Note 1 have better screen than T2 anyday.. only thing is my Note 1 is a bit old now and since T2 is cheap, I just give it a try.. the reason is I kinda like the design of T2.. FYI my Note 1 is nicely kept in box.. I keep it as an antique.. who knows if im not happy with T2 I can switch back to Note 1 anyday.. ^_^V
