Don't get the full aluminum as they disruption cellphone signals.

I even got the wireless back cover just to even out that camera bump so the leather like back is steady on a flat table.

The metal is about.7mm thick.

        Probably the best 4G LTE smartphone or phablet I owned. Watching video movies is a smooth experience and reading ebooks while listening to internet radio is good. Only problem is that some Android apps is not YET compatible to KitKat v.4.4.2 and I have to un-install due to app crash.

          Sorry, I've been a Note user since the first device. This has NEVER happened. 10 fingers points for what exactly? Xperia Z line up has terrible battery stamina with Sony has consistently NOT been doing anything to better the dismal Xperia's battery life.

          As if Sony doesn't use plastic for its bezels.

          If they had harmful eye sight issues, then AMOLEDs should be banned. LCDs, or TFT screens have a higher brightness nits than AMOLEDs. Just check those numbers. Super AMOLEDs in the Galaxy Note 3 has low light settings for reading in the dark than ambient lit LCD variants. I can control them further with the Screen Filter app. Each AMOLED pixel is self lit and that's why you get superior blacks, not dark grays in LCD screens in Xperia. The darker the screen in Super AMOLED, the more it saves power, unlike LCDs which has constant ambient lighting from the sides.

          It's spelled "Triluminos". Learn to spell it to be more convincing with your arguments here. If you turn on those "engines", it draws more power from the battery to give it more reds into the picture to make them more vibrant. Learn how it works.

          It's "4K video recording, and 3GB RAM". Learn to phrase things right. What exactly do you do with more RAM with your Xperia? Games? Oh wow. I need RAM to do Photoshop Touch editing.

          And that was only in the Note 2 with 2GB of RAM, using the its Wacom digitizer (S Pen). The Note 3 can run power demanding games as well.

          You mean "camera in Z2 is 20.7 megapixel sensor". It's not the "best" currently. I guess you haven't heard about the Nokia's Lumia 1520 with 41 megapixel sensor. That's the best in smartphones.

          it just sounds silly to be sporting something with all the power hardware to show off. Don't forget to buy extra chargers and power banks. You need to keep plugging in those Xperias to get through the day, or only take them out for showing off your games.

                      I'd like to replace my iphone 4. I will replace it with either with iphone 5s, iphone 5/5c, lumia 1020 or a GN3. I want GN3, however, I am thinking that they(samsung) might release GN4 after several months of my purchase. Which phone should I purchase? Any other phone suggestion?

                          According to Samsung homepage it is made of Polyurethane Leather therefore it is an artificial leather and might get brittle through time.

                            With S-View cover, I cannot guarantee that as well but the built quality of Original S-View cover seems to be pretty good, we can say only after experience how it performed on our Note 3.

                                        Tcool, 03 Mar 2014The thing I don't like about the S-view cover is it closes ... moreAre you sure, you are using the S-View cover now, Coz when you have security enable, the default timer to enable lock is 5 seconds and you can also adjust the lock timer, like I made it 15 seconds. So how many time you close your S-View cover it's never locked.

                                        2ndly while watching a movie you can turn the front cover to back and watch movie easily, it's not the issue.

                                        Hope this helps you my friend.
