S . SUDHAKAR, 11 Feb 2014I have experienced. Never faced any issue updating Symbian ... moreIt is not nokia user opinion section , I don't want to remember that crap symbian days , huge price and less specifications with software problems .Samsung and android changed whole mobile industry with more specification and affordable price.

Everyone should not be updating to anything until reviews are in. More than 1GB is a major update, and haven't we learned anything yet?

What is important is the quality.

You better ask which one has the best audio quality.

Samsung is very slow about its update always.
GS2 and GS3 had same issue.
I had experienced personally suffering a lot long timeeeeeeeee.

                      [deleted post]Ok.

                      General saying :

Do not update / upgrade your phone's firmware via KIES if the size is above 500 MB. KIES is waste.

Tcool, 11 Feb 2014You mean up to this moment it is still downloading?Yes. Till now, the update size (when I checked the xxx.TMP file's size in the LAPTOP's TEMP FILES folder) file is 1 GB at 59%. I think the total size must be 1.8 GB or 2 GB.

I am using wired broadband (2 Mbps till 8 GB and 512 Kbps unlimited after 8 GB). Till now I have used 6.3 GB out of 8 GB. So it is downloading at 199 to 215 KB/s (multiply this by 8 and divide the answer by 1024 to get the speed in Mbps).

Do some research. You are the one not in the know.

A Geek, 10 Feb 2014From your first comment,it's clear that you didn't know any... moreYes, I did mention the cradle before you commented that numbnut statement about you only knowing charging happens on a smartphone. Separate chargers have been around for YEARS. Now who doesn't know anything?

Those pictures are of my actual battery cradle chargers. Here's my Note 1's black battery cradle:

                                        http://www.flickr.com/photos/92800985@N06/12443984435/

I've used battery cradles for over 2 years. Rarely used? I use it almost everyday and it just stays home most of the time. Of course it's specific for the battery. For me, the Note 3 I'd the only thing I need and the only device I carry, henceforth I only need to carry a thin spare battery. Not everyone follows my habit, and not everyone follows your general device use and carrying the bigger and heavier power bank just because you have a uni-bodied smartphone with a non-removable battery. If you bothered looking at the images, you'll see my power bank on the right of the 2nd image. So, it'd be better for me to carry a power bank and wait to charge my device for about 2 hours daily?

You did come here arguing that a power bank is better, and only paid trolls are appreciating the feature of removable batteries. Well, I've stepped up because I have a different view, and I hope Samsung keeps on this feature for the practicality for longer usage time without having to wait hours to charge with a power bank or plugging in a convenience outlet.

It would seem your only logic here is:

Removable battery user = geek = paid Samsung troll
Power bank > Spare battery (even for a smartphone having removable battery)

I'd rather see Sony thickening their Xperia line up with a 4000mAh at least and improve their battery consumption efficiency than carry the power bank to charge up daily.
