This is somthing iv found in internet , its old article but explains a lot about Note 3 camera.

tauhid, 14 Nov 2013I m disaaponted too.i m from nokia x-7.now i m using gn3 sn... moreI think on low light is better to use low MP picture format 6 MP for example (i got better results that way). On 13 MP mode you just get more noise in picture which software try to compensate. This my lead to blurry picture. Other important thing is increasing exposure time in low light environment.In other words you need to be super steady or use high ISO value - 200 , 400 etc, higher ISO also allows you to shoot faster in low light environment but it also means that u will get more noise in pictures. That explain fact that most pictures taken with phone on low light are disaster.
You can try HDR mode or some option with flash. But if my theory is right i doubt you will get good results until Samsung fix software/firmware on N3 cameras.
Some manufacturers try to lower their product cost using some cheap business solution even in their flagman products ;/ This leads to very disappointing difference when it comes to comparing products.

i just bought galaxy note 3. i love everything but design and less waterproof. i wish Sony can do samsung software and feature...because Sony design is a winner with waterproof function. But overall..GN3 is king of smartphone/phablet today. i love it a lot..

The Note 3 outperformed the Nexus 5 is drop tests by a big margin.

I almost gone to purchase this phone but later only I realised it dont have GORILLA GLASS or any other sort of resistance for its screen. :/
Still waiting for better phone with Gorilla glass coz I am a tough user.

N 9000 Contains 2 processor 1.9+1.3 ( total 8 chips when its working together )
N9005 Contains 1 processor 2.3 ( total 4 chips )
That is make N9000 higher performance than N9005

Wont buy any Samsung Phone til they release one cheaper than Lumia 520 that has:
2gb ram
8mp cam
5mp front cam
4.inch screen
3g or even 4g
lasting battery
scratch res. Glass
duarable
should be able to upgrade and downgrade to any android version

N9005 is definitely has a superiority over N9000, because N9000 is not a 4G enabled phone whereas N 9005 is and it is also capable of shooting 2160p UHD video recording @ 30fps, 1080p @ 60fps, 720p @ 120fps , whereas N9000 can shoot only 1080p @ 30fps.
This is because of the difference bw the chipset Snapdragon 800 vs. Exynos.

N 9000 is not 4G compatible, so if u want to use a 4G network u can not do so. That is a sad part of this model.

Appreciate your advice for me about note 3.. which one of 2 models is better performance and higher speed N9000 or N9005
Someone informed me that N9000 more better than N9005 but I'm not quite sure of this info

everything is perfect... only some software issue which can be fix in future update... i'm a user and also a seller of all brand and model mobile phone... end up I pick Note3 as my own phone.. highly recommended..

RT, 14 Nov 2013Coming from past S4 experience and now Note 3, I would say ... moreThe problem is that im trying to take good picture. And if made a lot of tests in low / med and day light, with and without flash, iv tested a lot of camera modes + white balance, exposure, metering, smart stabilisation etc. I m not happy with the results ;/
I have few gestures what may cause this lack of quality.
1. Samsung have put some post process to make pictures looks good (in their opinion), in various situation - especially in low light and when you shoot fast and you are not super steady. I mentioned in my 1st post filter or effect i use to process low quality images in Photoshop (median). This filter (in Photoshop and other picture editing programs) interpolates pixels comparing them with "neighbor" pixels and try to "average" their value (color contrast brightness etc.) so they match more close to their surrounding pixels. Result is "washed" image with lack of contrast, when it comes to fine details.
This is made if you have very low quality original picture which you like to have more descent look with minimum efforts. When it comes to shooting with Note 3 in 13 or 8 MP this is bad to have that sort of post process over your pictures. That shows low quality of camera and matrix behind;/ After all its only a phone not real camera. Lets hope im not right about that.
2. Phone is decalibrated from transportation and other reason trough his way from manufacturer to seller store. I know the effect what vibration or some hits can produce.
