what is the life expectancy of note 3 neo?
i am planning to buy this.. can it run more than 2 years?

hey there
it now more than one month i am using this phone.
and now i am confuse that i maid a good decision to buy this phone or not coz price is less now also this phone has overheating probleam even after 5 min of game use like clash of clan.
it also overheating when talking for a longer duration like 60 min. it has hanging problem to. tuch screen stops responding.
i called in samsung care for these issue so they told me to uninstall recently downloaded app so i did. i uninstalled more than 20 apps in my phone but problem remain same.
bettry is draining more than usual i did the system check with the help of "Antutu banchmark" after playing 5 min of clash of clan on that time phone temperature is in bitween 40.2c to 42c.
i went to service center as well they responded that this is normal temperature of this phone. But the point is that its a phone after all and i need to hold it against my ear to talk and how i meant to put it against my ear if it 42c hot.
and if it the normal temperature of this phone than samsung research team need to work on this as they need to understand its a phone.
its my 3rd Samsung phone i own a samsung galaxy tab2, samsung galaxy s4 and currently samsung galaxy note3 neo.
and almost every phone have the same problem.
i bot this phone because of SUPER AMOLED screen coz i love game and my job required me to travel a lot.

after carefull consideration I am buying this phone. I had to choose between these the A5, E7 and s4.
I liked the s4 for its screen and all round performance though not top of the table anymore. However it was a tad too expensive to me. These however didn't justify the asking price according to me because things like moving my hands to control the the gallery and some other gestures didn't justify a hundred dollars.
The A5 was good, I liked it for its design but it's asking price was too much when compared to what I get in terms of processing power screen quality and software.
The E7 seemed like an all rounder with good design and big screen and despite the weak cpu I was prepared to buy it until I reached the store and I saw the note 3 neo.
It was was as powerful as the s4 as productive as the note 3 and of course a complete phone.
Will update you on my hands on.

siddharth, 22 Mar 2015I have seen a little degradation in the performance of this... moreRam consumption like you mentioned is normal and it should be.
If you always clearing ram means clear apps, makes ram free, free ram makes many apps to restart itself to fill in the free ram, which will consume your battery.
So clear certain apps which is act abnormal but not every apps or you will result in battery draining.

I have seen a little degradation in the performance of this phone. I am still really really happy with it but before the last update the ram usage was usually under 1.5 GB but not it does not go below 1 GB even on clearing. I'm not really complaining. Still a great phone but I figured it was worth mentioning.

one of the best phone i have ,
best battery backup
best perfomance
overall it is the best
but the only one bad luck is , samsung did not anounce the lollipop update

-s pen sensitivity is not as good as note 3/4

Its the only phone in which I am careless about switching off any feature cos of battery. It handles every thing . Great battery decent camera. Stunning screen and grphics. All in one.
