Same problem as Yash, completely unusable after a Lollipop update, and the full reset did not change that.
Time to buy a non Samsung phone I guess.

I have upgraded to Lollipop but there seems some issues
1. there is a lag in operation
2. The screen locks very frequently
3. The contacts are not getting synced
If any1 has fixed above problem kindly guide

If anyone is facing “UPDATING CONTACT LIST” after updating to Lollipop
then try this…
From any Home screen, tap Apps.
Tap Settings.
Scroll to ‘APPLICATIONS,’ then tap Application manager.
Swipe right to the ALL screen.
Scroll to and tap Contact Storage (NOT Contacts).
Tap Clear cache.
Tap Clear data, then OK

Kitkat is now so boring once you have tasted Lollipop...
Just factory reset the phone and it runs smoothly as it used to on Kitkat..

So, I tried both the lollipop roms and it just was too slow to be honest. So, I rolled back to KitKat and rooted the thing and it is honestly so much faster than the lollipop roms. Just root the thing and it will do wonders for you.

Just update to lolipop on note 3 neo, the contacts are not appearing (it says being updated ) its a day already with the same issue, could someone please help ?

Update works great. will use this phone for more longer time now :)
Only problem i faced because of update is lag in unlocking screen (if i type passcode numbers "FAST" , it lags.. otherwise np) ... satisfied :)

The update is working pretty good on my phone. Have updated it around 3 weeks ago. Things which I did before updating.
1. Take back up of your data.
2. Reset to factory settings.
3. Clear cache memory. (Press and hold the Volume Up, Power and Home button)
4. Settings > General > About device > Software update
The overall interface is better now. Call options and calling UI looks brilliant and some new features are added. Samsung smart manager helps optimize performance & battery. Overall its working smooth for me. Try to follow the above and see if it works for you people.
Samsung has confirmed last year that Lollipop will be last for Note 3 Neo so don't hope for Marshmallow. :-)
