Yes, it is normal. Note 3 neo will heat up while charging for fast charging and gaming which is common for most smartphone. Your phone is not defective that's for sure.

Hi My note 3 neo is heating up while charging and playing games below the camera...?Is it normal or my phone is defective....??? During normal Internet surfing also my phone is heating up below the camera... I downloaded Antutu & it shows a a score of 30000...& an app me lame Thermo CF is showing the temperature at 31.8C? Is it common or my phone is defective?? Thanks in Advance....

Coming to the note 3 neo and the galaxy E7... Choose wisely because the camera is better on the E7 and you would get better performance on the note 3 neo... You can also have a look at the S4, it has a 13mp back camera and 2mp front camera but its weak on the performance department than the note 3 neo... Also it has the lollipop update, for which some people on this page are dying for
