Major drawback drawn from experience. This 'phone is an OVEN. CPU runs hotter than any phone I've had. At idle writing this post 50°C with 25°C ambient. Can reach 85°C perhaps beyond. At 65 during normal Goog Maps use it's uncomfortable keeping the finger on the screen, it's ridiculous you risk a burn. This being Snapdragon 805 shouldn't even be touched by the 810 temperature problem, I am really building up a not so good image of Qualcomm. I know it's decently fast and capable but it's capable because of BRUTE FORCE not because of its efficiency. It's like running my old Exynos on nitrous oxide. Also Samsung could have used a heat spreder shield/sink because there's definitely a heat spot only in the upper part of the screen where the chipset lies, with the bottom part remaining quite cool.

For this and scalded fingers well let me say I could be happier. Even though I appreciate the good speed, decent responsiveness and feature pack.

AnonD-686547, 22 Jul 2017I have two problems.. It has a ghost screen issue and i can... moreI had the camera instant shut-down with flash on my SGN3n N7505. If that happens try reset entering download mode pressing VOL- wth PWR button and HOME button. Beware that some broken pictures recorded while the shot was finalizing may hamper or completely stall the Gallery app performance, you might want to delete them before considering the device re-set.

About the ghosting: I suspect that'll be more panel or driver chip related, I may suggest you try a different firmware version or possibly a custom firmware.

AnonD-680950, 21 Jul 2017thanks a lot. Iwas noticing on white backgrouds i see like ... moreI think not. Not going to get worse over time. I use OLED since 2011 and I've had and tested many and twins among the many.

What I can say is that there's no one OLED like another. Some have a more pleasant rendition to the eye, more gamma.... some may be a bit inferior. This hasn't really become an issue with me.

AnonD-680950, 17 Jul 2017Hello guys, i had a s6 and currently have note 4 . I ve not... moreMy N4 doesn't show any pink cast on the display, just a shade of green when tilted outside optimal viewing angles, which I think it's characteristic of this powerful UHD display.

Perhaps not relevant to you in the ROM I use (Dr. Ketan's, to the best of my understanding the only unofficial UPGRADE path available for SM-N910T) there's an option under Display to better profile che colour output of the screen.

The options are: Adaptive display, AMOLED cinema, AMOLED photo, basic.

I'm sorry for the triple entry one was out of my control, another was a reload on a very weak mobile connection. I am here just to report everything is OK with my device apart from a small issue I won't mention since it's very specific one.

Tbh I don't get the point of constant updates (well... kind of)... got my SGN3n on 2014 firmware... running strong.... thrown probably one hundred of apps at it, just finely screened permissions and runs very nicely indeed.

Now on this SM-N910T I've uppped it with SGS7 firmware (with Edge and S-Pen features) from Dr. Ketan and runs very sweet. I am not concerned about system updates. Despite some quirks I think it's much better option than the stock firmware from T-Mobile.

Also... this brand new device is currently selling on eBay for AUD 308 or 183.93 GBP current rates from a seller in HK (from which I've bought mine) which makes it a no-brainer choice over recent underdogs from Samsung like C and A series devices. If you are having a draw for this device GET it NOW... I am even thinking of stockpiling !

This is a FLAGSHIP high end device.... meaning 16mpix 16:9 shooter with much crisper images than all the other Galaxies currently on sales, outstanding 4k video recording, a barometer... HR and blood oxygen sensor, the S-Pen, QHD display... I think they should sell A series top end ones for 100 bucks to keep an acceptable price fork with this one.

m80116, 15 Jun 2017Ford dog's sake don't get this phone in the N910T T-Mobile ... moreThose updates are security and stability fixes. You can go ahead and ignore them but some of us are quite thankful for the attention Samsung is still giving this device. If there are apps you don't like, disable them, or even delete them if you have root access.

I'm just glad that my 31 month old device has a stock kernel that is only 3 months old.

Ford dog's sake don't get this phone in the N910T T-Mobile variant.... it's an AWFUL experience.... I am terrified by it. Everything listens to you, updates are quite "enforced" into this device.

My first 4 hours experience is a constant update downloads (probably some gig), and reboots, and app-optimizations which already have been optimized 5 times being this the 6th update.

They have NO CONCEPT of cumulative update, or just flash the latest version.... everything is delivered as an update which already needs update, I wonder when this ordeal will eventually and hopefully end...

I hope I can unlock it, root it, costom rom it, use recovery mode.

For older Samsung models download Samsung keys to your pc and you can still get upgrades for as long as they are available.
