For 3 days my note edge keeps switching off. when im on internet or texting etc. I have to switch it back on. Anyone else have this problem? Plz reply.

I also bought the phone in Chinese language, but being a Chinese unable to read!!
It is that seller told me how to change language, now pass to you.

I had my Note Edge for almost 2 years now, working great.
The new update ruined everything, please avoid 6.0.1
I will find a way to roll back.

When i bought this phone last month, i think the Telco leftover stock after released 2 yrs ago.
There was 2 updates, for ver5 and ver5.1.1 as one of them is to fix 'something'.
hence you may expect to have another update file to fix all sort of bugs.

am using Note edge since Feb 2015, after updating to marshmallow (6.0.1),
1. Phone restarts by itself atleast once in a day
2. Gets heated when on charge with fast charger
3. Says "Insert SIM card" - resolves when I restart the phone
4. Lags when pulling down the notification bar
5. Power Saving mode lags the performance
6. Night clock on edge screen disappears many times and comes back automatically..

SamFay mean the language.
As should direct him by using the icon. Every wording is in Arabic
Setting icon -> Look for icon with "A" -> Click On the Top (wording in Arabic).
Finally, look for the "English (US or United Kingdom" wording then click.
Somebody told me about on how to change language, look for "A".

To compare, use Note 4 Edge vs Note Edge.
There are difference in Note 4 and Note 4 Edge.
It is the Edge series and not Note series.

When updating, it include all apps optimization, hence better battery standby.
Just wait for a few weeks, the battery go back to previous state.
Ram and battery are somehow related. That is the all apps are optimized.

I am satisfied and not so much interest in updating.
Current version work perfectly for me.
As for battery, everyone know; but i always do a fast charge before going out.
Even using to the max by doing some trials which i am involved. No breakdown
Wireless work perfectly and speed is fantastic, up to my plan on 500 Mbps.

You need to consider; your budget, what is the phone for, outlook, social class,etc.
You want play game which required power, then look at the ram, 1.3 Ghz Cortex, battery power & strength & limit.
You want to show-off to your friends, colleague, etc.
Basic use only.
Don't be many users here after having the phone, start complaining on lack of this & that.
So, you should not complain here as saying it is a mistake, blah,etc. in your next post.

Just go to the spec and check which model-variant apply to you, your country.
Each country do have different frequency, which it is enforce worldwide.
I read somewhere, that writer bought back the handset from another country US.
Writer back to his/her country, the handset cannot be used.
It is better to get clear confirmation before you made any purchase from oversea.
Most important, that is to check whether your country based on which frequency.
