By then, the phone would able to use for a few more years.
There is 1 most important thing to take note.
Most brand will release the same series on model yearly; ex S4 -> S5 > S6 > S7....
Every new series, new features will be added.
This is business operation, and if not, the brand will be ceased to exist.
Also, most ISP do have contract for 2 years, include 1st year on warranty.
Another Business style of operation is fixed battery, non-removable; for 2 reasons.
1. Many old & existing models with removable battery, this give work for battery manufacturer.
2. Non-removable battery do have its own advantages.
2.1. This is to avoid imitation battery which may damaged some components inside the phone, as it do explode while charging &or using; as reports from newspaper.
2.2. Non-removable battery give business to those "Power bank" manufacturers.
This is all about business and turnover on profits.

There is a reasonable on why it is like this.
That is if not, the apps will started if accidentally touch for right-handed users.

But i was reading about note 6 and it will will come with non removable battery altho it will come with sd support. Im wondering will all new samsung phones coming out have non removable batteries ? Also i read there is a note edge 2 coming out. But i dont know for sure wether its true or not?

AnonD-532215, 01 May 2016That edge sometimes interferes with the palm my right hand ... moreNo bro, never since 6 months this has happened to me..Note edge has a special feature which recognizes the palm and touch recognition.The edge panel only responds to touch and never to palm..I tested this several time, being a right hand user i always rest my palm on the edge panel and till now it never responded.

Note edge... moreMy word of saying was, Note edge is outdated in terms of software as we all know that sam would not release next update called N to the devices which are >2yrs(2014 model).And it is always better to go for the latest when comes to s/w wise.Note edge is even my favorite phone which is the only model which has both stylus and edge which no other model has so far.

That edge sometimes interferes with the palm my right hand when I am holding it. I would prefer a phone without an edge.
The stylus is nice though.

Getting the update, may end up with lots of problem.
There are so many variant on this model, it is safer for Samsung to send the update to my phone, that is the correct update.
That is why people complain after they themselves did the update, which may not be for their model, end up with problems.
As i bought this phone last week and Samsung auto update twice, 1 update before version 5.1.1 and the 2nd update is version 5.1.1

Hi friends.
I recieved an update on my note edge N915g few days ago. Its still on 5.1.1. So it must have been a stability update. Accordding to samsung all note edge models will receive 6.0. Did anyone else receive this update?
