So i uninstalled cm sercurity and reset it and its not heating up. It could be an app thats causing it to heat. If you try resetting it , but backup your stuff first. Hope this helps.

Delete waze, and games you dont use, disable synchronizations and radios BT,NFC, WiFi or GPRS.

im using Waze(navigation app) on my Note Edge and heats up a lot and i couldnt even charge it because its too hot. any help?

Razor, 28 Feb 2016Does any of your note edge has heating issues?mine heats up... moremine did after update t0 5.1.1. but had CM sercurity in it and since uninstalling cm nomore heating. check to see if its a rougue app. or try reset. hope this helps.
