I have had a mobile phone since the mid 80's (yes, one of the very first ones in Australia) and have had one ever since. The Galaxy Note Edge IS all that Samsung claim. Mine charges to full from 10% in about 3 hours. I got mine through Vodafone and it has worked flawlessly, even been left out in the rain over night. I run my Phantom 3P drone on it and watch movies. the screen is incredible. Dropped it more times than I care to admit to.
Would highly recommend it.

I bought a note edge almost a year ago. What a fantastic piece of kit. Screen resolution - fantastic, note taking and handwriting recognition - Fantastic, All round usability - Fantastic. I work night shift and listen to music on google play. So not only do I stream music, but I also play it on a bluetooth speaker for 7 hours non stop.. By the time I get home from work I'm down to 15-20%. If that's not fantastic then slap me silly with a bread stick, cause thats a lot of power on a 3000mah battery. I just purchased a zerolemon battery which is 9000mah. So now I'll have battery power for 3 days before I need to recharge. Besides.... I've never known anyone to use their phone while sleeping which is a great opportunity for recharging. It is still far superior than the iPhone.And I say this from being an avid iPhone junkie for years myself.

I hate to be the naysayer here, but Note Edge has not worked for me. I bought one new about 6 months ago and they are slow to charge (2 hours = 17%), the battery does not last a day even, there are glitches on the phone which mean I cannot pick up calls with the swipe. There are benefits, but I am reluctantly going to have to go to back to iPhone!

I own a galaxy note edge sm915g indian variant purchased on December 2015 but due to some reason the front camera seems really poor kindof like extra brightness where the hair colour seems whitish instead black. I purchased note 4 before that and due to the same issue i sent to the samsung service center and got DOA Since it was under a week and when i went to the store they did not have anymore note4 remaining so ended up paying the difference and getting the note edge but the front camera issue stayed the same.. i still have my samsung galaxy s4 and it's front camera is wayyy better and looks original rather then the note edge fake whitish look.. first i thought it's cause of the beauty mode but i kept it at 0 still the same.. Other than this everything runs butter smooth from games like mk4 fifa 16 injustice asphalt nova and Battery life too is brilliant.. and coming to the back camera is superb crisp and clear.. but i do not understand what is wrong with the front camera? And that too during clicking pictures only as when i record videos through front camera it comes out superrbb.. and iam running on android 5.0.1 and my phone was made in samsung india facility noida.. maybe for that? Pls any suggestions will be very helpful

Is it a g... moreNexus 6P has no sd slot or nonremovable battery. note edge has sd slot and removable battery. the battery life i note edge has really surprised me. its amazing. i would say go for note edge. i bought mine in december and it is a nice phone. take great photos. great videos and you can customise your edge pannel with your apps which leaves homescreen free. i also own note 3 which i still use. cant part with it. but note edge is a great phone.

note series user, 26 Jan 2016i am using note edge since 3 days m so angry because of the... moreIm an owner of both note 4 and note edge. what I can advise you because I experienced the heating problem of the edge is that I updated the software from kitkat to lollipop.. yes it might lose some functionality of the edge by it will solve your heating problem.

i am using note edge since 3 days m so angry because of the heatup of cell...i was using note 4 before it...i can say nte 4 is thousands time much better than note edge...note 4 is more fast and battery is more last longer then note edge i am going to switch my cell again
