I've had the Edge for a week. Had to look up the user manual online, but once I read through that, I am in love with this phone. I use it for scheduling, alarms, meetings, ect. This is a great phone. Haven't had luck finding a decent screen protector for it though. Nothing that covers the curved screen portion anyway. Still an amazing device. Love the edge screen. I keep my most used apps there for quick access. *heart*

hellcat , 22 Jan 2015I switched from a iPhone5S and have had the Edge for about ... moresigh..........you dropped the Edge. I did not even drop it. It was in my "Sling bag" and it knock against my bunch of Keys. Screen crack............bought in Dec lor... repair they said $251 after 30% discount

If it is one thing I have learned about technology, and awaiting for the next cycle to begin.
Don't wait. If you have a need for something; meet that need. Do it now. Get the need sorted and get on with living.
For the people who are time rich and money poor... sure, maybe wait for a price drop (and the inevitabke new range of flagships that enviously make you wait until their price drops...

Jan rap, 21 Jan 2015I've owned an S3,S4 and was thinking to move to a new brand... moreI switched from a iPhone5S and have had the Edge for about 2 weeks. It took a while to get used to android again but I love this phone. The edge screen is useful, but not as useful as you might think. If you are someone who has ever dropped your phone.. I would suggest the Note4, since the detailed features are what I love most about the phone. I dropped my phone from chair height onto a rug and it shattered my entire screen- and durable cases aren't available for this phone. You have to treat it like a glass figurine if you don't want to constantly want to be replacing the glass (which costs $200, on top of an already pricey phablet).

I've owned an S3,S4 and was thinking to move to a new brand for a different experience. And then I came across the edge. I am truly flabbergasted and it's a whole new experience. The edge screen also makes you rethink how you setup your homepage...you don't have to clutter it with all your favourite shortcuts etc.

As from my experience the note 3 is better as far as performance speed and battery life.
Im a note guy i have been using notes since it first came out i started with the note 1 then 2 nd i jumped to 4 edge but i was expecting a much better phone at least they shoulda of make the processor faster and longer battery life. Engineers focused on new technologies that are still very new and forgot about upgrading the basics

It's been 2 days I am using edge. I upgraded from iPhone 6.
Though not as lag free while playing large games but still much better and innovative while using other apps.
It's expensive but worth the money u invest.

I got one today and will update the performance soon s i am still using iphone 6.
The dealer sales guy told that they sold 50 units in a single day on an average in Dubai as promotion is goin on.

internet screenshots do not fully convey how black it is (most looking 'grey' with zebra stripes).. in the 'real world'/non flash gallery shots, the black is black.. meaning that the transition from screen to casing is undetectable. (OLED true blacks remember)
The white unit is not the same as the white note 4s- there is noticable light bleed from under the screen edges. For me personally this would annoy me- but I guess we could equate it as a 'feature' equivalent to philips tvs edge lighting from years ago.
Having owned many OLED devices, my first being a galaxy S2; I always laughed that people would even consider a white facia. The black makes it the ultimate multimedia device.
In 'basic' colour profile the colour accuracy is insane (beating out my calibrated panasonic plasma), and various high end LCD screens (photography industry for many years - this is the best screen I have ever seen).
Laws of the physical world we live in, black absobs all light, white reflects it... perhaps daytime use of the white unit would run (negligibly??) cooler.
This phone has excellent sound and picture quality (it can even test your hearing and recalibrate for 'flatline' audio output) best multimedia device under the sun (my opinion).
