It's always better to buy the newest device like the A8+ than a device like the Note FE from August 2016!!!!!

I think note fe(Flagship) will recieve more updates than A8/A8+
S series and Note series only recieve updates for 3 years.
J series and A series stuck in its versions

Gosh.. Just got my note fe from the service center last saturday. Theey replaced the board and now the same issue is showing. The symptoms are the same

I have an iPhone 6 and besides of that I don't have too much experience with iPhone but the Note FE surely has more features than the iPhone 7 plus, and a slightly larger display in a more compact form factor. I would not hesitate to recommend this phone, and I am not a very big fan of Samsung... so yes it's a good phone to purchase.

I am also not a heavy gamer, so battery life for me is fine, no problems. The only issue might be bloatware. I have a Korean version and it's loaded with bloatware which cannot be removed. But there are Malaysian and Philippine versions as well probably not having this bloatware.

Samsung is really slow with updating phones. My Note8 is still on nougat and so is my Note FE, whole Sony is updating its phones much faster. The Xperia XZ1 is a nice compact phone with the super slow-mo video capability, something that I think is much fun. If I were you, I would go for the Xperia XZ1 compact, but I have to say I have no complaints about my Note FE.

Any suggestion which one is better note fe or xz1compact still can't decide almost same price I'm using 1 yr old z5compact so lag and battery drain fast after 7.1 update can't take longer video and play longer game because of heating issue even using fb and messenger also lag and cp become so hot in just short period of time using

I bought this phones last jan 9 2018
I took about this samsung note FE fan edition .. while i use this i m not satisfied in front camera and rear for night captured and im so very frostrated coz alot of parts used from this phone is comes from note 7 unused parts that get an isue of battery explode and fire so samsung gets that this phone can't expose in all social media for emphasizing cause of the history of note 7 plss develope this phone in the right advantage that may people lead to safe not take the parts to recycle again money is a paper that can rebuilt but human can't

samsum has long before now known to be a leading giant
in phone making but just quite
astonishing their unresponsiveness to new global shift to battery power issues and av low turn around to we-their ptoduct admirer ......
pls we need mid budget phone with better battery capacity...
pls note this.
