Q2 2012 till Q3 2016. Still alive and kicking - the original battery included. It meet the cement floor in N occasions. Very robust. I was a happy owner except the lack of IR blast. Ohh well my new S7 edge doesn't have it either.

phone is good but camera is not be claried to other camera and last one not a 4G phone is it problem is not a longer problem

Facilities are ok. But camera clarity is worst despite of having digital stabilization. If you take a lot of pictures, then Samsung Note 4 will suit yiu because it has OIS and OS.

Best smartphone I have had ..reliable mate...bought her on Jan 17th 2013...her performance is much better than Alpha and note 5 i have bought later

Bought this baby on 11.11.2013 and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made.
Camera- 8MP camera still outperforms most new mid range smartphones.
Battery - Gets me through a day even though the battery is almost 3 years old.
OS - Android 4.4.2 is old but who gives a damn when the phone is 3 years old. No hiccups.
Root - Rooted the 2nd day after I bought this baby home and no issues what so ever. If you know what you're doing then you can't go wrong with rooting this monster.
Ram - 2GB is more than enough if you are rooted and know how to manage how apps run. I have more than 20 different apps installed including facebook,messanger,whatsapp etc and still have about 900mb free ram at any time. (secret - Greenify + wannam expose module + titanium backup)
I'd love to keep talking about the phone but the bottem line is this. If you are on a budget and need a phone that will age extremely well, Then you can NOT go wrong with this bad boy. If you love it then it will love you back and won't let you down.
PS - You can buy more than 200000 accessories for Galaxy note 2 on Ebay and most of them are very cheap which is really great because that way you can keep changing back covers and what not when you feel like you're getting board.

I really repent owning note 2 now...

I want to say something about this crap company named Samsung , i have a note 2 phone and i am sorry i bought it , the phone have a damaged emmc chip from factory , i checked with emmc bugcheck from play store and it say "yes , insane chip" , in 2012 Samsung not admited first this problem with emmc chip, after media disclosure they say yes and promis to fix it via firmware , new coded firmware to bypass that bug , another thing is that they stop releasing new firmware lolipop or marshmallow for this phone and with this specs i think he handle this firmwares, why? because they want the people to throw this phone and buy another one newer , this is a crap company
