Riya, 17 Nov 2013Thanks again, Ramangoel. Portability is a big issue with me... moreThere is an option by which only Spen, will be recognised and touch of your hand will not be recognised. You just have to click the hand icon on the right hand side bottom. You can on off this option.

Riya, 17 Nov 2013Thanks again, Ramangoel. Portability is a big issue with me... moreI don't think resting palm is an issue while talking notes on note 2. Although you can rest palm on note 2 when you are taking notes with Spen. Note 2 is excellent for note taking, painting, photo editing in Snote is awesome. Why don't you go to any shop where you can check out note 2 yourself???

Portability is a big issue with me too,I don't want to carry additional bag for the tablet. If there isn't any significant difference in note taking capabilities of both the devices then I will go with Note 2.I won't be taking notes during live lecture, I plan it to use within the comfort of library or my room.
I have heard that you can't rest your palm on note 2 screen while writing as it does not differentiate it with the stylus. Is it true?

Acc. to gsmarena review of note 2, Note 10.1 spen is more good. Note 10.1 will be hard to carry around as compared to note 2. As far as Apps concerned, both have same processor , ram and Android 4.1.2 I personally feel, if you want to take class notes on a gadget, u should buy note 10.1

For Note taking apps, check Samsung Apps for Spen.
It has Snapdragon 800 , so dont worry about gaming. it has lots of power.

By the way go and see galaxy core ppl reviews in this same gsmarena.com. Users are complaining tat they are not even able to play subway surfers. This is prob wid dual sim phones. They cannot perform well. See I love samsung. Im not fighting here against samsung. Ppl will be more happy if they are able get some good phones for 15-20k. Thats all.

Yes it's good to have external battery 'chargers' when you travel alot. I personally feel to charge it through Power socket. Thanks
