i got an update too for my note 2 (2 days ago) still 4.1.2.
still battery problem. but overal performance is very good and the phone run faster than before. the only thing that need fix is the battery performance
while my note 2 was at 4.1.1. the battery backup is awesome than update it to 4.1.2 still very good. but when i got 2 updates(2 stability fix) within 2 weeks the battery goes bad

hi guys please this is a very sincere request to all u bloggers and experienced note2 users .my phone had sds I had my motherboard replaced and updated my firmware till the latest updates till today but even after that when I checkef in emmc brickbug application it shows yes sane chipset .please guide what should I do now.

I live in India and have bought my Note 2 from Oman in November 2012. Recently, I have been getting too many reminders from Samsung to update my firmware. I am scared that if I download and update the software my phone may crash and since the warranty is covered only in Oman, I will be stranded if something goes wrong. Are my fears unfounded? Should I go ahead and get the updates installed? What are the benefits of updating the software? Do I get additional features?

A very sad news for note 2 fans...
I contacted Samsung India for gorilla glass 2 they told note 2 don't have gorilla glass but has scratch resistant glass a sad news for many of note 2 fans. I asked whether it gets scratched since we use stylus and he replied it is scratch resistant. I asked whether note 3 is coming or shall i go for note 2 he told to go with note 2 since there is no information about note 3 with them. I asked whether i can mirror the screen to my smart tv he replied to procure wifi ap to connect all share from note 2.
Even though it don't have gorilla glass it does not affect my craze with note 2 and still waiting for this phone to get below 28k at Chennai....
