After updating it 4.1.2 OS the battery dies off quickly.
Is there any update to fix it?
Does this phone has Gorilla glass?

hi bil even mine is oxf1 even after updating and it still shows insane chip.but u see people here r more bothered about gorilla glass than the chipsets...surprising isnt it....

I am referring to the actual website of Corning Gorilla Glass:

Unfortunately, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is not enlisted in their list of products. However,it does mention in the beginning that -
" Due to customer agreements, we cannot identify all devices that feature Gorilla Glass. Your favorite device may include Gorilla Glass, even if you don’t see it listed. Ask your manufacturer or retailer to learn more."
So,only Samsung will be able to answer this question.

1. You have fast data connection.
2. Battery is more than 80%.
3. During installation don't try to use your phone or pull out the battery/memory card.
4. Format the phone.
If you follow this steps you don't need to be afraid a bit. Best of luck..

i got an update too for my note 2 (2 days ago) still 4.1.2.
still battery problem. but overal performance is very good and the phone run faster than before. the only thing that need fix is the battery performance
while my note 2 was at 4.1.1. the battery backup is awesome than update it to 4.1.2 still very good. but when i got 2 updates(2 stability fix) within 2 weeks the battery goes bad

hi guys please this is a very sincere request to all u bloggers and experienced note2 users .my phone had sds I had my motherboard replaced and updated my firmware till the latest updates till today but even after that when I checkef in emmc brickbug application it shows yes sane chipset .please guide what should I do now.

I live in India and have bought my Note 2 from Oman in November 2012. Recently, I have been getting too many reminders from Samsung to update my firmware. I am scared that if I download and update the software my phone may crash and since the warranty is covered only in Oman, I will be stranded if something goes wrong. Are my fears unfounded? Should I go ahead and get the updates installed? What are the benefits of updating the software? Do I get additional features?
