I know all companies have their own Marketing strategy and everyone here is to make profit ... But I really feel sad when someone ask me "hey did you buy that Note II in exchange" or "so you got that Note in Credit Card Installment" LoL ;-)

Since they did not decrease the rate, the customer will be happy that their phone price did not decrease even after years.
Now just think what will b the price of apple 5s or apple 6? Wt will b the price of iphone 7? Will they increase so on and end up at 1 lac per mobile? Do u think its logic of selling i phone 5 at 50k even after 2 yrs? Its practically not possible and if they sell at that rate then they too cheat the customers. The chip or board cost of any new technology will be high in beginning but after 6 months the same technology blanks out and the cost decrease.
So decreasing the cost doesn't always mean that they r cheating.
But in case of Samsung i agree that they too do business gambling by selling new released mobile at 40k and after an yr it sells at 30k its purely business and we have to accept. If u want latest technology u have to spend more if u want outdated u get for cheap price that is the fact.
So iphone or Samsung all people do business strategy that's it, i phone gulps more money from consumers even for their outdated models where as Samsung bangs the money when it is releasing new model and decreases the price for outdating technology after some months to sustain its market.
So i think if u want technology forget the money go for any new model when ever anyone releases or if u can wait for a yr u can get the same model at almost half the price for the same model.
In case of i phone u have to invest more and more money for new technologies. In Nokia the model will not sustain and u get same technology in different model name with lowered price.
We see only business tactics played differently by different companies.
Deciding hw to go is ur choice. Nothing is premier here.

I completely agree with you, It was launched almost a year ago .. reduction of price after some time is inevitable ... but all these tricks to sell the product on large scale is really devaluation of the product itself, I also own an iPhone 4s and its almost around two years old but still its price is not very much down even after the launch of iPhone 5 .. and no question of getting it in some kind of scheme or exchange..thats what premium phones is all about ..

I have several email accounts like Google and Yahoo, and my Samsung has its own cloud service. I also have my office Outlook email account on Microsoft Exchange. Whenever I sync all these accounts, I keep on getting duplicates in my Contacts list. Is there another way to remove all these duplicates aside from joining these contacts individually which is so cumbersome?

1. No sd card so can't able to share without the help of pc
2. Even though its battery life is good once crashed can't be replaced
3. Unable to expand memory
4. All the i phone apps available with android.. infact android has many apps
5. Can't able to share with friends using Bluetooth of other mobiles...
6. Many downloads ask for money...
Still more to list like this.. Apple fans will never accept the truth and they say the same thing... They use this set only for prestige and for that rat eaten apple logo..
Last thing no one is going to sustain in using smart phones for more than 1 or 2 yrs due to fast changes in technology so y we want to invest heavily in iphone for its brand? Samsung phones cost is less but not as less as micromax but many people go for Samsung for its service since micromax still growing in service...
Iphone fans shud not comment with Indians with other brands since it is 100% not suitable for India and it can b kept for for prestige...

I really don't know what Samsung is up to. Bought a Galaxy Note II a month back in India for Rs.36,000. Suddenly Sumsung India started various schemes to sell the phone. First they started the EMI scheme on Credit Card and Debit card, that was Ok but what really sucks is that they also started exchange offer on Note 2. Exchange almost any shit phone and get a Rs. 10,000 discount. This is really absurd. Samsung is really cheating the buyers of their high end and premium phones. With these schemes the market value of the phone fall drastically and Note 2 is now not on the premium league, its just another phone .......Will never buy a Samsumg phone again A lesson learned the hard way.

Ple... moreG.M.K : note2 n s3 have the same screen clarity n camera experience but the size of screen is 5.5 n 4.8 thats a huge x factor for note2, also in the case of ram the note comes wit 2GB of ram n s3 is of 1GB, only the LTE version of s3 comes in 2GB ram when it comes to battery also note2 is the superior wit 3100mah batteries but on s3 its just 2100mah...make ur best choice...

3 of my friends have given away their galaxy note II and moved on to iphone 5. I was surprised to see the note II which is solid with one of my friends who has bought an initial piece (last may) was stuttering like a Note I & bettrey life has diminished too. This is the reason most people still prefer iphone 5 even though it is costlier. The point i am making is samsung is good but far from teh best smart phone out there{i hate plastic} - i think the new xperia lineup beats it in sturdines & design while mathcing it is performance. I am super happy with my Note2.
