Feels ... moreI did not format my phn before upgradation....sm says that battery life improve after upgradation.second problem with my phn is that it heated uo nearby to camera after half an hour of talk on phn.....do I go back to 4.1.1 or wait for any bug fix....thanks for ur valuable comment

hey do u know wen will jellybean 4.2 will strike note 2?

With those improvements, I plan to upgrade with a retention unit of the Note III by November.
I'm getting a free Note 8 in May, but a Note III would be a daily standard I'll be carrying for all my internet & art creations. I can imagine the Note III going for at least 2 days of heavy usage of about at least 16 hours of full HD screen-on hours, and still a removable battery!

Based on the new SGS4 this is my opinion on what the Note 3 will have.
1080x1920 screen (5.8-6.0")
Similar appearance and materials
Marginally longer and wider but probably a mm thinner
Gorilla glass 3
13MP camera
2GHz octocore (2x quad)
544MP3 gpu
3500mAh battery
all the same software
Probably not a massive upgrade but the note 2 was always going to be hard to top.

hi guys,,how are you with your note 2?
i have n7105,, 4.1.1 firmware ,, and i got an update 282.7mb on my notification,, does this update is really an advantage on my note2? or just battery draining problem?
coz i heard alot are complaining about battery issues, and they wish they stock on 4.1.1 ,,
hoping for you good idea on this matters thanks guys love you

If you want to go on 4.1.1, You can. Go to Your Distributor and Samsung Store nearby and they will downgrade it to 4.1.1.

superfone :-) i can play big mkv files with ease no problem whatsoever i can play hd graphics games with no lag while using my phone on power saving mode. gr8 processor ram screen and stylus pen stylish fone...
anybody can tell me wen will jellybean 4.2 update will come for note 2 coz it is rumoured to come in sgs4 B-)

Upgraded to 4.1.2.
- Becomes More Responsive.
- More Smooth
- Battery Life Slightly increased.
It's totally optimized now. Thank you Samsung! Looking forward for more support for SGN2.
P.S Before you opt to update your Note, backup your all data and format your cellphone. As the Note restarts after formatting, connect to wifi with 100% Charged Battery and update your cell over the Air/KIES. Once upgraded, restart your phone and format once again. Then download all your softwares and your data and enjoy 4.1.2 with optimized results on your Awesome Galaxy Note 2.

AnonD-123730, 14 Mar 2013i brought my phn near to 15th of january....it is just amaz... moreI have installed 4.1.2, but not seeing the same issues as some people. I can get 3 days with light uses and two days medium and one and a half hammering it . I don't have tons of applications install just the ones i really use, as i reset the device one week before i got the update. The best advise i can give you is hard reset the device, as this could be an application issue more than the OS its self.

i just use it but the front camera is really kinda blur. . but still its still awesome. . korea phone still ok :)

i brought my phn near to 15th of january....it is just amazing.i am thankful to samsung for this beauty
but after updating my phn to 4.1.2 battery need to charge after 15 or 16 hour and i am also not a heavy user of wi fi or internet....before this update it last long upto 30 to 35 hour.i also restored my phn factory setting but it also not able to improve my battery back up....how can i go back to 4.1.1 or is there any app to save battery

sachin, 13 Mar 2013worst mobile battery back up.. daily im charging two tym..o... moreI am also using Note 2 for last 4 months and there is not issue with battery at all. Battery life is very good usualy it lasts for 2 days with normal use.
