hey plzz give me solution..!!!
when i updated my note 2 to 4.1.2 it vibrates sometimes mistakenly n restarts , switch offs..so what can i do now??????

No the s3 does not rock.. its battery life sucks. which is what makes the note 2 a far better phone. anything the s3 can do the note 2 can do with a better battery life.

HTC butterfly, HTC DNA, LG Optimus G, Nexus 4, Huawei P2, Huawei D2, Asus Padfone, Padfone Infinity, Oppo Find 5..etc.
especially the S3 in the north america.. which is one of the most garbage phones out. dual core.. laggy and freezes like hell...

i got this U... moreI got the same thing when I bought mine here in Manila. The UAE firmware should read N7100XXALJ2 and there is nothing wrong about it. Have you updated through Kies, and not via network?
I changed or updated my firmware via Odin by downloading from SamMobile.com.

i got this United Arab Emirates ting in the lower part of my About Devices... and i cant upgrade my Note II to JB 1.4.2 yet.. why??.. please help

I don't kn... moreThe "lag" is the speed in which the pointer follows your fingers, not the animation of various UI on the screen.
When you move your finger quickly, you can see the pointer just a split second behind your input (this delay is the lag most people talk about still existing in jellybean).. this "rubberband effect lag" is almost absent in iOS or WP8.. thus those fanboys will use this reason to attack this phone.
Not just note 2. Even the most recent phones sony XZ and HTC one have this issue.. its a general android issue.

The S Pen, or the Wacom active stylus and the apps that help you operate the Note series, differentiates it from the rest of other devices.
It's the prime feature why I got the first Galaxy Note and the resolution and size of the screen back in November of 2011. Most people were laughing at this marvel. Not so much now with a jump in performance and new features in the Note II.
Yes, you can have a nice smooth operation with the capacitive touch with your fingers as well. With the Note 10.1 and the Note II, useful app additions like being able to doodle over the S Calendar, switching pen tip style by hover clicking the side button of the S Pen, the free Moleskine app from Samsung App store, hover previews of videos, galleries, web content and email - make this worth the buy.
It's going to take a lot of convincing for me to switch to something that doesn't have a Wacom active stylus for digital painting and sketching - and a charge lasting 16 to 20 hours moderate to heavy (7 to 8 hours of screen-on time). Here's hoping for the Note III to be even better this year! Cheers!

My capacitive stylus is not great on Note 2, sometimes does not register. I prefer this stylus over the S-pen because of natural resistance and better size and shape, but it's very much skipping in fast action. Did not see this problem on other phones I tried the pen on, ipad of my sis included. Will do extensive test with xperia z when I get it, hope I don't need new stylus.

I don't know what phone you were looking at but my note 2 is silky smooth with no lag whatsoever.

My note 2 lte has internal storage 10.26 G and now available space left only 1.22 G.When I move some game data files and app data files to external SD card, these games cannot be played.How can I manage?
