TheNeighbor, 21 Feb 2013I'm interested! What method or link did you download the ro... moreU can max get abt 3 and a half days for mid /heavy use if u read my comment i will be starting the 3rd day today and with full heavy use i get abt 24 hours i mean 5 to 6 hours of graphic intensive games like a7 , tdkr, etc and like 5 to 7 hours of browsing 3 to 4 hours of movie watching etc which i can hardly do but some times on week ends i do it.

my normal use is like this approx 1 to 2 hours of heavy game play approx 1 and a half hours of browsing in power saving mode and i use sterio bluetooth to listen to music for abt 2 and a half hours every day and some liltle things here and there for may abt 1 hour and calling abt 10 to 30 min mind u to get most out of the battery life never forget to use power mode when phone not in use and use the connectivity toogles from drop down when not using 3g or wifi just turn it off and just dont feel bad when it shows 25 % it still got a lot of power if used wisely and properly can be used atleast for 11 to 12 hours but if not u can deplete it even 2 or 3 hours as well

there is a app called "root uninstall" u can get it from market to remove the system apps but b4 u use it just a fyi only for rooted phones and it will give u a warning b4 uninstalling that the system might be unstable so if u know which app u do not want just remove it ignoring the warning i hope that u will not uninstall the apps u need i removed lots of apps like apps came with the stock rom samsung apps carrier apps to name a few which i really dont need in my life .the advantage is that u get some precious system space and more usefull can be installed agreed its a lil risky thing but as they say no pain no gain so do this only if u know what u r doing and btw r u kidding me with a week of battery life LOL..

AnonD-77443, 21 Feb 2013Which build is it? I am on 4.1.2 N7100XXDLK7Are you having issues with the official update like faster battery drain?

You mean the battery can last a week with heavy use?! That would be such an outstanding feature I would like to have! What apps did you removed?

AnonD-77443, 21 Feb 2013Which build is it? I am on 4.1.2 N7100XXDLK7Its the same build but i did not update ota or via kies if u r aware if u have rooted phone u cannot update it ota or through kies so i downloaded the entire stock rom for poland country which was abt 978 mb and flashed it through odin as clean install then rooted it again and removed all the bloatware like unwanted system apps and that gives u some memory space as well as do not cause battery drain issues there r lots of unwanted apps they keep running in background and eat battery even if u kill all the apps from task manager or clear the RAM so u better remove it .

I used iphones for about 3 years and have been on android for about 2... my wife currently has an iphone 4S.

                    In answer to your questions.

I think android is ahead of iOS which is getting a bit old. That said iOS and apps is very polished and smooth and plenty for a non-power user.

The note 2 is better than the iphone 5 but a lot of people dont like the size of a 5.5 inch phone so its really personal choice.

I agree that iphones hold their value better. To start with they are a lot more expensive to buy ($200-$300 outright).

I think the iphone 5 camera is better than the note 2 especially in low light... thats not saying the note 2 is bad its just no better that the note or S3. However the camera app on the note 2 is streets ahead with controls and features.

Personally the iphone 5 with a 4" screen and iOS is starting to get really dated.. they really need a 5" phone and to upgrade iOS but are still good phones for most users.

ps. my biggest peeve with apple (apart from the OS and small screens) is being locked into iTunes which really does suck... full file management, OTA, micro sd card and USB OTG make android devices a lot more like a PC.

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2013My question is android or ios,who is the winner in this yea... moreIt's the typical Apple user mentality that their device is expensive and they want it that way. iPhone 5's mid- functions isn't for everyone. It's a cell phone with a media player. Camera for the Note II is excellent. The burst shots, zero lag and other functions are fantastic. If you're into photography, I suggest a DLSR camera. The pros use that.
